saint peach Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 Rickie seems to think we can beat United. I bloody hope he is right. http://bit.ly/hbu27u
Um Bongo Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 I wouldn't call him confident lol. I do think he'll score though.

NorthamSteve Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 Confident is definately not something I'd take from the quotes from Rickie. The bits you've put in on the other hand prod it gentley in that direction.

channonball Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 He was on Saintsplayer last year confident of beating Pompey.....
aintforever Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 Wasn't he confident of beating Tranmere as well?
KK the 2nd Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 I'm with Rickie (and I was also sure we'd beat Tranmere)! However maybe worth a punt at 7/1 (generally available) to win in normal time? Man U may well rest players?

Man U may well rest players? So if you bet £9 on Utd at 4/9 and £2 on us at 7/1 you'd be sure to make a profit if the game wasn't drawn ?? I suppose it depends on what the betting tax is these days.
Um Bongo Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 Lambert to score first and a 4-0 win at 2000-1. West Ham beat them 4-0 and they are turd. Cheeky.
kpturner Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 I want us to lose 4-3 and be robbed of a clear penalty in the last minute.....that would be perfect.

BTW there is no betting tax passed on to the punter these days.
adrian lord Posted 27 January, 2011 Posted 27 January, 2011 The comments alluding to Pardrew are more intriguing.

hughieslastminutegoal Posted 28 January, 2011 Posted 28 January, 2011 The only cup upset I can see here is that someone will spill his tea in the dressing room at half time.
