I would have loved to have seen lallana (fully fit) go against their back line..

Same, gutted for him as he missed the Man U game back in 2008 due to Injury too.

the skill and control he has shown this season would have caused any of their lot problems...no question...proper gutted..

rafeal or G neville would have had a busy afternoon IMO

Even on a bad day Adam Lallana is the best creative and attacking midfielder in the league. Just a pity now that he is spending more time in the treatment room than the training room. At least he has David Connolly for company.

Coming back from injury I'd hope he'd be saved for monday to be fair.

Plus, he's exactly the sort of player who could hurt Man Utd, he's good enough to rip Neville apart. I'm not too sure we want to be putting that on display just before the transfer window.

He's just signed a new deal.

Which wouldn't preclude him being sold if, for example, Man Utd offered us £20m for him on Monday.

Yes, highly unlikely, but signing a new deal doesn't rule anything out per se.

In fact there have been quite a few cases of players signing new contracts with the precise purpose of obtaining a better deal for their club.Should we not get promotion (but we will) a 4 and a 1/2 year contract will just get us money for Lallana (and incidentally more money for Bournemouth)Although I don't know where Bournemouth would have stood if he'd moved on on a free transfer, in theory they'd get nothing.
