sfc4prem Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Looks like Wednesday have won. Shame. If we don't get a run together soon we're screwed...
Smirking_Saint Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Yeovil down to 9 men. Sheff Weds score a penalty to make it 2-2. Ref disallows it for encrougement. Retake skied over the bar! Still 2-1 to Yeovil. He disallowed it for giving him some encouragement ?? Thats a bit harsh
S-Clarke Posted 25 January, 2011 Author Posted 25 January, 2011 Looks like Wednesday have won. Shame. If we don't get a run together soon we're screwed... I thought they were losing 2-1...?
trousers Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 I thought they were losing 2-1...? Correct. Perhaps he's thinking Yeovil won't have any players left soon....? :-)
trousers Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Brighton 2-0 up now, c*cks. Is that one of those quizes where you have to rearrange the words to make a well known sentence...?

S-Clarke Posted 25 January, 2011 Author Posted 25 January, 2011 Wotton doing us a favour in the Sheff Wed's game.. 83:27 Darren Potter takes a shot. Paul Wotton gets a block in.
S-Clarke Posted 25 January, 2011 Author Posted 25 January, 2011 GOAL: Sheff Wed 2-2 Yeovil : Johnson (86) buggers...

S-Clarke Posted 25 January, 2011 Author Posted 25 January, 2011 You'll never get those 4 mins back Trousers...i gave up listening to that game ages ago.

trousers Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Saints 8 points off top (same games played as Brighton); Still 2 points off auto-promotion with a game in hand
Dr Who? Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Find it hard to see us catching Brighton now.... they just keep on winning, and are looking unstoppable good at home!
saint_bert Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Brighton will not be caught now. Dunno, still to early to say that.
Dr Who? Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 I am also still a little worried about Bournemouth who of course beat Brighton to do us a favour, only for us to lose. It seems Brighton only lose when we also do the same!
Thedelldays Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 for us to gain 9 more points than brighton...who have shown great form already would be a huge feat......
Dr Who? Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Dunno, still to early to say that. They would have to hit a bit of a bad patch and of course we would need to keep winning! I did mean caught by us!
saint_bert Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 They would have to hit a bit of a bad patch and of course we would need to keep winning! I did mean caught by us! No doubt it will be tough, but if they draw their next 2 or example and we win thats down to 4 points again. Plus we have to play them.
darren Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 They would only have to go on a bad 3 game run and we win 3 in a row, plus its to early to say we still got half of a season to go.
Matthew Le God Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 They would only have to go on a bad 3 game run and we win 3 in a row, plus its to early to say we still got half of a season to go. Plus we have one more game against them.
aintforever Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 I couldn't give a monkeys about Brighton, finishing second is all that matters.
S-Clarke Posted 25 January, 2011 Author Posted 25 January, 2011 Still a long long way to go, only in January! Lots of ups and downs for everyone until the season is over. They will blip at some point.
beatlesaint Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 I couldn't give a monkeys about Brighton, finishing second is all that matters. Couldnt agree more, lets not be greedy. And while they carry on beating teams around us they are doing us a favour and giving us a bit of breathing space when we have the odd cock up like last Saturday !
shurlock Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 (edited) Brighton have scraped alot of results, especially in the last couple of months - they are catchable - why should we settle for anything less. to do otherwise is defeatist. Edited 25 January, 2011 by shurlock

Appy Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 (edited) Brighton look formidable, 2nd looks our best bet. Edited 25 January, 2011 by Appy
BHA Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Plus we have one more game against them. Or you go on a bad run for three games and we go on a three game winning streak.
saint_bert Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Or you go on a bad run for three games and we go on a three game winning streak. Well done on your comeback tonight.
Simster Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Pompeys attendance tonight is a WHOPPING 13,345 :lol:That can't be right. Pompey were getting 20k last season, and they were building a 36k stadium which was still far too small for a club of their stature apparently, and they're paying newly signed players 20k a week which they obviously wouldn't do on such small gates. *confused* Or alternatively, it IS lovely to see these goons falling below Southampton, Albion AND Reading in the southern clubs pecking order, as they will be next season - in both size and league position. Very pleasing. Brighton will not be caught now.Again, that can't be right. Your manager was *insistent* that it was all about us keeping up your team of WORLD beaters. Eight points? Surely you're leading US by 8 points aren't you? Find it hard to see us catching Brighton now.... they just keep on winning, and are looking unstoppable good at home!I think this is nearer the mark. You might catch us, but nearly half a point a game is an awful lot to make up when half our games are seeing us take maximum points! I'm still hoping for Albion to win it, with Southampton and Bournemouth (or Charlton) to follow us.
