SuperMikey Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 What would your specialist subject be? Aside from Saints - that's too obvious.
Hatch Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 aaah bollllocx. just got that wrong. Anyway, who can spot the deliberate mistake? :-)
Window Cleaner Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 What would your specialist subject be? Aside from Saints - that's too obvious. in fact Southampton Football Club would be far too vast a subject. You need to keep it narrow within the limits allowed by the programme's producers. You need to go for the life and works of some 18th century canal builder or something like that.Me ?? Probably works of Willam Boyd or Thomas Hardy, I know a lot about that.
SuperMikey Posted 24 January, 2011 Author Posted 24 January, 2011 Mine would probably be the Life and Work of Chris Morris. He's a bloomin' genius.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 The life and work of Shirley MacLaine was she in the Partridge Family ??
Window Cleaner Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 aaah bollllocx. just got that wrong. Anyway, who can spot the deliberate mistake? :-) nope can't see any mistake Crop Rotation was known is Roman Times.Perhaps it faded out in the 14th century though for all I know. I'll have to have a look in Horse Hoeing Husbandry which we all know is the life's work of one Jethro Tull Esq.

Useless FACT!
Window Cleaner Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 Ian Anderson lives about a quarter of mile away from where I used to live. Useless FACT! Is he not still Lairding it up in Aberdeenshire then??
bridge too far Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 Is he not still Lairding it up in Aberdeenshire then?? Well, he has a large estate in Buckinghamshire (near High Wycombe). I accidentally strayed onto his land once (I didn't know he lived there then) and he came charging up in his landrover to tell me off. I was told he holds hunting parties on the estate.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 Well, he has a large estate in Buckinghamshire (near High Wycombe). I accidentally strayed onto his land once (I didn't know he lived there then) and he came charging up in his landrover to tell me off. I was told he holds hunting parties on the estate. Surprised at that he's not a bad bloke or wasn't in past times. John Evan(who was at one time in Pharmacy at Chelsea) was going out with a girl in my year at Imperial and he got us tickets for an Albert Hall gig and we got to meet them all afterwards.

John Evan(who was at one time in Pharmacy at Chelsea) was going out with a girl in my year at Imperial and he got us tickets for an Albert Hall gig and we got to meet them all afterwards. from Wiki: The couple have lived in a 16th-century redbrick farmhouse on the 500-acre (2.0 km2) Pophleys estate in Buckinghamshire, England, and on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. They currently live in Wiltshire, England. Phew - this backs me up and, in my endeavours to find out more, I came across this: http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/travel-resources/industry-news/miscellaneous-and-celebrity-news/rock-star-pad-may-be-on-the-cards-for-tony-blair/a-3-58-1051/ It says IA owned the place in the 70s but it was definitely in the 80s that he confronted me!

Well if you see him stray on to the road with that Land Rover tick him off, because I'm not sure that he's got a licence. Wiki is sometimes a bit strange, says John Evan was educated at Kings but I'm sure that he did just 2 or 3 years of Pharmacy at Chelsea College

badgerx16 Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 ha ha, that's well funny. Can I count on your vote my friend? Name any of the albums it can be heard on, with the appropriate track #, plus hum the first 4 bars. You are aware that your 2nd sentence paraphrases RadioHead ?

rocknrollman no2 Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 A head to head with dunce ? No god forbid! We had to learn about it at school and i just found it interesting(and something we should be ashamed of as well).
lettuce Posted 24 January, 2011 Posted 24 January, 2011 The NASA Apollo moon missions. Saw an episode of Mastermind back in the 90's where this was one of the subjects and I got every question correct, even better than the contestant on the telly!

dune Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 Check with Dune. For the upteenth time I do not subscribe to Nazi ideologies, in fact whilst growing up I quite fancied flying an Israeli helicopter gunship and zapping terrorists.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 My post wasn't aimed at dune, it's actually something I know a bit about. Done it at GCSE and A-Level. With a bit of revision I reckon I'd do alright.
badgerx16 Posted 25 January, 2011 Posted 25 January, 2011 For the upteenth time I do not subscribe to Nazi ideologies, in fact whilst growing up I quite fancied flying an Israeli helicopter gunship and zapping terrorists. Ironically, how Nazi are the Israelis in their attitude towards the Palestinians and the ( illegally ) occupied territory ?
