martel Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Fox sports showed the 76 final over here last night, it was great to watch that again, I hope it proves to be a good omen as the game today is also being shown here in the states. However, I have a good friend coming over to watch it with me, who happens to be a Man.U fan, at least he is from Manchester unlike the prawn sandwich brigade from south London etc.

alpine_saint Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 And the message about Richardson and Dickson would be??? Maybe one of both has got a knock, are they on the bench ? Dont understand the need to be a pedant about this. After last week, I would take another look at Bart too if I were NA, and Puncheon is clearly finished as a Saints player. I asked because a lot of reviews of last week's game had Richardson down as being excruciatingly poor and yet one or two thought he was very nearly our best player. I think they've both been dropped on the basis of last week's performance but who knows.

saints-cris Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Man United - Lindegaard; O'Shea, Smalling, Evans, Fabio; Anderson, Gibson, Scholes; Obertan, Owen, Hernandez. Subs: Kuszczak, Brown, Bebe, Giggs, Nani, Rooney, Berbatov
BARCELONASAINT Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Have to agree with Alps on this one to some point. Punch is obviously on his way or he would be in the squad (barring an unknown injury) Not so sure about it being a message to Davis, more a message to Bart, your very much part of the squad and you deserve a game in a match we are not expected to win, so go enjoy! NY Saint Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Watched that with a couple of Newcy Brown Ales and enjoyed the coloured version of the game, I'd only seen it in black and white before (I think...memory is fading). One of my closest friends over here in the US, a guy that genuinely likes our football and follows Saints watching every game we have televised with me, is also attending this game. He's a big fan of college team Iowa State. Their club history follows a similar pattern of minor success followed by misery Saints have experienced so we're able to drown our mutual sorrows. He compared this game today as being akin to his college team playing American football against the Dallas Cowboys, though on this seasons showing it might be better to suggest Pittsburgh Steelers. Excited. Nervous - but would prefer to watch us win a televised game on the way to promotion. Glad Lallana isn't being risked, even if he was fit. St Chalet Posted 29 January, 2011 Share Posted 29 January, 2011 Good team selection. Bart gets reward for patience and chance to shine, Seaboune pacier than Jaidi, Harding and Butterfield prvoide experience with an attacking 4-4-2 to look forward to.
