thorpie the sinner Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 got feeling we maybe done in transfer window. I hope my gut feeling is superior to your gut feeling lol!!!
NickG Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 would be happy but hard to see who/where etc - good enough to be worth it but able to get in team etc. Can't see defender or forward - poss midfielder but have fair few - Lallana, Puncheon, Ox-C, Chaplow, Morgan, Hammond, Gobbern - experienced playmaker/wide player is all I can see them wanting - or younger player for future in any position
benjii Posted 21 January, 2011 Author Posted 21 January, 2011 If Chaplow isn't fit I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Dickson playing at CM.
sfc4prem Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 got feeling we maybe done in transfer window. I've got a feeling we've still got targets and will push the boundaries to get them at the cheapest price, so expect some late deals.
Dr Who? Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 Saints win, Bournemouth win, and Hudderfield draw would be ok, and would leave us 2nd and 2 points off time!!
dannysfc Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 Am looking forward to this tomorrow and will be my 2nd time at Tranmere as the last time I went was when we lost 4-3 when Glenn Hoddle was manager but all was forgotten seeing how well we are doing now and am feeling pretty confident that were gonna win 3-0/3-1 at least and hopefully teams around us like Brighton/ Bournemouth n Huddersfield all lose which will help us alot so we will see ! Just to confirm that we are in our Black kit for tomorrow yeh or what as it'd be helpful to know before I leave for the game please?! Thanks! COYR !!
Dalek2003 Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 Wow you really are sad. No I was sad when we dropped down two leagues. I was distraught at seeing this club ruined by a bunch of mouthy self opinionated egoists who put themselves before the club. Those people are still at it today, and consider the barracking of the likes of Puncheon and Guly as par for the course.

I am just guessing but Bournemouth and Brighton probably can't both lose.
Leslie Charteris Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 People worry about NA's interviews, well here's the Tranmere manager's thoughts about playing us from the BBC website: "Southampton is a fantastic club and too big for our division, but so are Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton and Huddersfield. "But at the end of the day, they're in League One and it's great to play them. "I don't like talking about luck, but switching off is an area we've got to look at. "There's 90 minutes in a game, we've got to concentrate for 90 minutes and do the simple things well." If we get out of the building but stay on the bus, I'm sure we will do OK!
Matthew Le God Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Just to confirm that we are in our Black kit for tomorrow yeh or what as it'd be helpful to know before I leave for the game please?! - Tranmere home kit is white shirts, white shorts and white socks. - Saints home kit is white shirts, white shorts and black socks. Of course Saints will be in black tomorrow.
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Lallana a big miss and we struggle to score without him. Need to be at our very best defensively and we can then hopefully grind out a 1-0. If Puncheon brings his Millwall kit maybe 2-0 or 3-0.

ericofarabia Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Is Lallana definitely out? Seating arrangements on the bus anybody?
maxi_sopez Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 just about to go to bed in Massachusetts its -20! Hoping to wake up to saints 1-0 after 10 minutes or so...
Cumbria Saint Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 It is well below freezing and very foggy here in Cumbria this morning. Anyone know if a pitch inspection is scheduled?
itchen_dan Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 It is well below freezing and very foggy here in Cumbria this morning. Anyone know if a pitch inspection is scheduled? Are you serious?! Is it that bad? I've heard nothing about a pitch inspection.
MongoNeil Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 It's cold and foggy in Chester but I'm pretty sure the game will be on. I'll let you know after I've been for a jog.
toofarnorth Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Haydock racing is off because of fost. Sure Tranmere must be using frost covers if there was any doubt.
georgeweahscousin Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Cumbria and Tranmere are pretty far apart!
ericofarabia Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 I know, just have a feeling we are going to have at least one more Fonte moment1 North of Winchester what more could you want.
saints-cris Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Big time to get 3 points.. with Brighton and B'mouth playing eachother one of them is guna drop points today. Up to us to make it count.

ericofarabia Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Anybody at the ground who can let us know who was on the bus? We need to know. And did they all make it to the building?
Sheaf Saint Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 (edited) After the anti-climax of Notts County last week, we really need to pull something off and get a win here today. This is the only fixture I made it to last season for various reasons. We were coming off the back of a really good run, only to put in a really lacklustre display and lost thanks to some god-awful refereeing. Let's hope for better this afternoon. madruss Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Anybody at the ground who can let us know who was on the bus? We need to know. And did they all make it to the building? Listen, it's as simple as this, it's as simple as that, everyone on the bus has a smile on their face
Thedelldays Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Devon is better...I currently live in Devon..but can see Cornwall from my kitchen window
dune Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Last week we were rubbish. Today we will bounce back. We will win 3-0.
RobM Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 AOC is said to be in the starting lineup, according to Saints Twitter.
Thedelldays Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 AOC is said to be in the starting lineup, according to Saints Twitter. he cant be....he has played his last game...the papers told me so
ericofarabia Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 I'm on the bus to Cornwall I'll be on the Woking to Heathrow Bus in a couple of hours.
RobM Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 he cant be....he has played his last game...the papers told me so Good point, I must be wrong. Thanks for the correction
beatlesaint Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 AOC is said to be in the starting lineup, according to Saints Twitter. No Puncheon....at least not in the starting 11 though.
RobM Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 No Puncheon....at least not in the starting 11 though. I think that's just as telling as AOC being there, in terms of who we can expect to see playing for us for the rest of the season.
Matthew Le God Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 (edited) From Saints Twitter... Still waiting for the teamsheet to arrive, but expecting the team to be: KD. FR, JF, RJ, DH. AC, MS, RC, RD. GdP, RL #saintsfc 5 minutes ago So... Davis Richardson Jaidi Fonte Harding Chamberlain Schneiderlin Chaplow Dickson Guly Lambert Edited 22 January, 2011 by Matthew Le God
Saint_Jonny Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 oh god weve got the **** commentator today.
beatlesaint Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 I think that's just as telling as AOC being there, in terms of who we can expect to see playing for us for the rest of the season. Hope so ! Rather have Alex than Punch for the rest of the season.
Saint_clark Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Good team, if so. Reckon Dickson might score today.
RobM Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Hope so ! Rather have Alex than Punch for the rest of the season. You and me both. I'd love to see somebody with the talent of Punch in our team, but not with his attitude which is the biggest problem. He would be playing if he wanted to - he clearly doesn't though.
RobM Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 Good team, if so. Reckon Dickson might score today. As long as he scores after Guly that's fine... I've got a tenner on Guly scoring first in a 3-1 away win
Gator Posted 22 January, 2011 Posted 22 January, 2011 no AL but RC is back. According to the tweet team is KD, FR, JF, RJ, DH, AC, MS, RC, RD, GDP, RL.
