Appy Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Bristol Rovers v Hartlepool, 19:45 MK Dons v Plymouth, 19:45 Rochdale v Bournemouth, 19:45 Wins for Rochdale, Rovers and Plymouth would be very nice to keep the heat off us. Crucial for Bournemouth tonight, anything less than a win for them would leave them below us having played a game more. MK also in good form, Lets keep the match updates in this thread.
trousers Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Good call. Forgot there we're games on tonight. Cheers
Lighthouse Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Carlisle 2-0 up against Udders in the JPT. Doesn't really affect us, but if it knocks the Udders confidence a bit that can't be too bad. No goals in League 1 yet.
Appy Posted 18 January, 2011 Author Posted 18 January, 2011 Carlisle really love that trophy don't they!
Lighthouse Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Indeed. Plimuff just scored against Francise. Good stuff.
S-Clarke Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Mk 1 - 3 Plymouth game over there, good result for us.
Lets B Avenue Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Wonder if the "Most loyal man in football" went to Rochdale tonight. Only down the road from his new bank. Sorry, club. still 0-0.
Lighthouse Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 2 bore draws and a defeat for the teams who could threaten us. Pretty good night all in all I'd say.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Good results for us.We just have to win now.
St_Tel49 Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I have just been watching the Cardiff v Stoke FA cup match on S4C - don't understand the commentary but don't need to. All I can say is that the Championship should hold no fears for us if we can only get ourselves there. Our game against Blackpool was a much better quality game.
RonManager Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Greeeeeeeen Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmyyyyyyyyyyy. Gid orn, ya janners.

But then there's the brentford and notts county game to take into consideration. We have good players, but they need to learn how to play well consistently against different scenarios.

SFC Forever Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I just pray Lallana isn't out for long and then we can relax slightly and begin to look forward with belief.
Saint J 77 Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 I just pray Lallana isn't out for long and then we can relax slightly and begin to look forward with belief. weren't we meant to find out results of his scan today?
Matthew Le God Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 weren't we meant to find out results of his scan today? Yes, if you mean today = Wednesday 19th January 2011 according to BBC Radio Solent on Tuesday morning. Can't be sure if they will be revealed publicly though.
LostBoys Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 Good stuff - could have done with bournemouth losing but you cannot have everything
SFC Forever Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 Bournemouth home to Brighton with points dropped by both on Saturday won't hurt us either.
toofarnorth Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 Bournemouth home to Brighton with points dropped by both on Saturday won't hurt us either. I dont care about Brighton. Would take 2nd so as far as i'm concerned if they keep beating the teams around us that's fine with me.
Jez Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 I dont care about Brighton. Would take 2nd so as far as i'm concerned if they keep beating the teams around us that's fine with me. No interest at all in winning the league then? I wanna see us go up, and 2nd is good enough for me, well so is the playoffs, but still prefer we won the thing!
LGTL Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 Just had a quick look on the Brighton website and they got allocated 2357 tickets for Bournemouth away. Looks like we will get a few more then I expected us to.

Appy Posted 19 January, 2011 Author Posted 19 January, 2011 That's annoying. So they can fit more home fans in for a Cup Final atmosphere.
Window Cleaner Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 So they can fit more home fans in for a Cup Final atmosphere. Where are they going to get them from then?? Free tickets in the Sturminster Newton Evening Gazette I guess.
david in sweden Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 I just pray Lallana isn't out for long and then we can relax slightly and begin to look forward with belief. I think we'd all agree with that, but he clearly has a long term problem which won't go away ...op. in the summer ?
Tomobz Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 They are giving us the minimum allocation. every club has had the availability of 2300 tickets so far this season. i don't see any reason why/how they would give us less than that
