Bridge Posted 17 January, 2011 Posted 17 January, 2011 Hi, Can anyone give me that quicker number to get through to the ticket office. It worked wonders last year for the JPT final. Thanks
Nexstar Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Now on attempt #41. A PM with this number would be lovely
Stuartinoz Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Either cut off straight away or after 5 mins on hold!!! >:0/
surrey1saint Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Me to please!(PM re number) I am a season ticket holder,I have my ticket need one for my son who is not.
Nexstar Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Should have bought a season ticket. I'm buying for 3 season ticket holders and a friend.
Ampersound Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I used 01271 335708 for the jpt final but not sure if it still works now.
Rebel Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I don't understand why we can't buy tickets online!?! They really need to upgrade the online ticket sales system!!!
Mattio Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 whilst we're on a slightly related subject - do i need the customer number for everyone or can i give a name and address? its for my 10 year old nephew whos mum is at work so I can't get in contact with her! I don't want to ring up for no reason!
holepuncture Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 dont think it works anymore, tried it 70x this am. Got through on the regular number eventually. Will probably take a day off in future and head to st.marys!
Stuartinoz Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Should have bought a season ticket. Response of a mong! As per others on here, we are season ticket holders and have our tickets would just like our families to be able to go as well. But just a comment on the ticket office and you get a schoolboy jerkoff reaction of 'I'm better than you because I have a season ticket'. Wrong! We're all fans, there is no hierarchy, you know nothing of other peoples situation. Mong! Rant over.......
Nexstar Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I used 01271 335708 for the jpt final but not sure if it still works now. Thank you! 10 minutes, job done
JRM Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 The online ticket system is awful, compared to what I have used at other clubs, Fulham, Coventry, few German and Spanish. You should be able to logon, select the block you want and available seats should be highlighted for selection, once sold they are shaded and can no longer be bought. It works really well and allows the user to pick the exact seat of choice. These clubs also had scanners on the turnstiles, hopefully it is somthing the club are going to look at.

NorthamSteve Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 That was annoying, have spent ages getting the 'no one available please try later' message. Then, at last, didn't, for ten minutes, until I got the same massage and it hung up on me again.
supersonic Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 This is getting ridiculous now, I've got 3 phones on the go, and have been calling non-stop for over 2 hours, still not got through!!!!

lydlinch saints Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Can anyone get through on the ticket line? Constantly saying all operators are busy...
Midfield_General Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I got through at 9.15 after a million attempts. The order was: - 30x recorded fella saying "Sorry, all our operators are busy, please call later" - Then connected but with soothing hold music for 10 minutes. Stay on the line - Then it started ringing, and kept ringing for at least 5 minutes. Again stay on the line - The spoke to the nice lady, who whilst a pleasure to speak to, wasn't the quickest. All in all, with hold music, ringing and booking process combined, it took 25 minutes to book two tickets. At that rate for one booking, and with that antiquated online system basically useless, not surprised it's taking forever for people to get through on the lines.
lydlinch saints Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I wish they could jutlst put you in a queue rather than having to redial a thousand times. The system is terrible!!
ottery st mary Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I used 01271 335708 for the jpt final but not sure if it still works now. You are a star...I owe you some beer.. NorthamSteve Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 You got a massage and yet you're still complaining? What? Yes. Yes I am.
Mattio Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 this is a stupid system, tbh they should have let people who have been to x amount of games before the general sale (ive only been to one this season so this doesn't benefit me before you moan)
miss_biscuits Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I used 01271 335708 for the jpt final but not sure if it still works now. Works a treat thanks for this number. tried ringing 12 times and got through on the 13th attempt and on hold or 8 minutes - got my ticket Don't bother with 0800
proevosaints Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Number works a treat!!! try it, comes up engaged a lot but once on hold your laughing. Legend!
JackanorySFC Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Works a treat thanks for this number. tried ringing 12 times and got through on the 13th attempt and on hold or 8 minutes - got my ticket Don't bother with 0800 Same here, about 10-15 times, then it rang and rang fro ages, before going on hold, then ringing again for ages before matey answered. Loads of tickets left in block 3 for the United game. Block 4 sold out.
lydlinch saints Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 For the 01271 number, do you just keep re-dialing??
Mattio Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 tried about 30 times on the 01 number, tried once more on the 0800 number just in case and it went through, now in the never ending queue!
SuperMikey Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 For the 01271 number, do you just keep re-dialing?? Yes, i'm on hold now after 20 or so calls of just BEEP BEEP BEEP. Will report back on sales and where seats are available still!
Mattio Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 tried about 30 times on the 01 number, tried once more on the 0800 number just in case and it went through, now in the never ending queue!it just hung up on me! not happy...
scotty Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 it just hung up on me! not happy... Story of my life mate..... ps, ended up in 38
ottery st mary Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 that 01271 number just beeps continually and doesnt ring, did that happen a few times for you? Just kept redialling until through..
Vershinin Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Use the 01271 number guys, spent nearly three hours on 0800, after ten mins got through on that one.
SuperMikey Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Yeah, the 01271 number worked a treat. Northam completely sold out (as you would expect), they've opened Blocks 1 and 2 in the Itchen and I got my tickets in Block 3. Good seats actually. COYR!
NorthamSteve Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 01271 number worked. Got an Isle seat right on the halfway line!! My old man will be pleased.
kpturner Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 I used 01271 335708 for the jpt final but not sure if it still works now. Worked for me - wunderbar! Of course, the tickets may never arrive :-)
sandwichsaint Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Through on the JPT hotline at 12.40 after trying both numbers pretty solidly since 08-30 this morning, well chuffed as I was 50-50 on driving down last night and camping over, £50 saved on diesel! I was queueing for 10 minutes and then the face to face transaction took at least 10 mins to go through! A couple of time saving options for the future: 1 The Carlisle tickets are issued as straight duplicates of the Man U tickets - any changes can be made via the ticket office after the game. I heard all sorts of weird and wonderful combinations (of tickets and locations) going on in the background and my guy had to wait a couple of minutes to find me my Carlisle tickets .. I was quite happy to have the same seats but lots of people appeared to be making different choices ... this was confirmed when he came back and said he couldn't do the same seats.... duh! 2 Charge 50 quid for the United tickets (and pro rata the reduced prices) and include a 'voucher' for one remaining home game (or a choice of three games) (or one specific game) which we can then cash at our leisure after the big rush subsides.... a massive windfall today for NC and BT but I can't help but think that the local economy has taken a huge four-hour hit this morning! Good luck everybody else, keep dialling, you will get through (eventually).
Ampersound Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Glad to have helped. I'm in block 10 row C for all these free beers
Lighthouse Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Had to call about 20-30 times on the 012... number but after that I got through after 40s on hold. Also got a ticket for Yeovil in March as I can't get to the game against the Isle or Carl. Block 38, near the back.
ThomoSFC Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Number worked for me, kept re-dialling and eventually got through after about 20 minutes and 6 minutes holding, so much easier considering I was on a mobile. Definitely goes through as member of my family got through just after me so got them to check my order number. Cheers!!
Mattio Posted 18 January, 2011 Posted 18 January, 2011 Just got off the phone after trying since 930 on both lines ( got through on the 01 number) was then on hold for 20 minutes and booking for 15! - could only get tickets in different places but got block 2 and block 41! You will get through but don't expect it to be in 10 - 20 goes, it took me about 60! Good luck guys
gandalf Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 On hols in Spain but eventually got through on my mobile! Call log shows 101 attempts Eventually got tickets. Just hope it was worth the effort. Why not by internet or like they used to do with being able to send a fax.
Appy Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 Not the best day to ring for Peterborough and Exeter tickets by the looks of it.
JRM Posted 19 January, 2011 Posted 19 January, 2011 Not the best day to ring for Peterborough and Exeter tickets by the looks of it. But unlike United you can buy them both online, that's what I've done.
