Jonnyboy Posted 20 January, 2011 Posted 20 January, 2011 Surely you of all people would have already known this? Nah it was the right peg
the colonel Posted 20 January, 2011 Posted 20 January, 2011 They won't get away with slacking under the Tories no because they won't have employment

Tractor_Saint Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 Echo saying not as bad as first feared and has been given permission to start straining again. Back on the curry then?

Now we know how he glides past opponents so easily....

trousers Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 They've corrected the typo now. Bugger (so to speak)
NickG Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 This thread could go down as an all time classic. The false speculation and depression and writing the season off. Four pages of posts. Doom and gloom. And the latest update is.... rather than months he may not miss a single game!!!!!

NickG Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 no, not one game missed since these reports on this thread -won't be suprised if he does though
Window Cleaner Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 no, not one game missed since these reports on this thread -won't be suprised if he does though Doubt if he'll play tomorrow.Looked very awkward in the build up video and not in view in the games.
VectisSaint Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 They've corrected the typo now. Bugger (so to speak) The headline is still complete nonsense though: "Adam Lallana returning from for Southampton injury sooner than expected" unless this is one of those games where you are asked to put the words in the right order to form a sentence. Thought the Grauniad was bad but the Echo Daily takes it to a whole new level
ericofarabia Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 (edited) Doubt if he'll play tomorrow.Looked very awkward in the build up video and not in view in the games. I'm sure tranmere have a carthorse and plough out at this very moment preparing their playing surface - not an ideal place to comeback f'sure. And then the big rest him for the FA Cup or give ourselves a fighting chance by playing our best line up starts. Anyway great news if it is as appears ready for action pretty damn soon. Turkish Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 This thread could go down as an all time classic. The false speculation and depression and writing the season off. Four pages of posts. Doom and gloom. And the latest update is.... rather than months he may not miss a single game!!!!! This thread is genius, pure drama and speculation. it also seems according the echo report that Chaplow will play tomorrow and is fit and Hammond has started training again and will resume training again soon. So from the drama of the impending slide down the table due to all of our midfield being injured, this time next week would go infact have them all fit! Onto the next drama queen thread!
alpine_saint Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 Apart from the one he has already missed.... hehehehehe. Easy for NickG and Turkish to be smug with hindsight. Though a bit indecently hasty, you would have thought they would have at least waited to see the names "Lallana" and "Chaplow" on the Tranmere match team sheet first...

Chez Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 I'm sure tranmere have a carthorse and plough out at this very moment preparing their playing surface - not an ideal place to comeback f'sure. surely the ****flaps term `f'sure' is worth an infraction point or two on here.
ericofarabia Posted 21 January, 2011 Posted 21 January, 2011 surely the ****flaps term `f'sure' is worth an infraction point or two on here. I only do it for wind up reasons.... but I'll take the infractions like a man.... and whinge like hell.

Though a bit indecently hasty, you would have thought they would have at least waited to see the names "Lallana" and "Chaplow" on the Tranmere match team sheet first... or maybe we just trusted in out management that they knew what they were doing and didn't predict a knee jerk reaction of impeding doom based on nothing but speculation and worst case scenarios, before anyone even knew the extent of both players injuries..... I correct him - he hasn't missed one since this started - but did say would be surprised if plays tomorrow. Easy to be smug when reading some posts!

I don't expect to see lallana tomorrow but big difference between missing a game and being ruled out for the season as some were predicting. Should we be signing a replacement for this game or do we think we will manage?
