Don't worry though, this is all covered in primary school English lessons, you'll pick it up in time. And to answer your question, yes the statue of the man is intended as a tribute.

We are in a good position top of the table, Where you and huddersfield would like to be now, so why should we be afraid of you both? 4 points clear of second with 2 games in hand and 5 points clear of third with a game in hand. If anyone should be afraid shouldnt it be you and huddersfield.

Frank's cousin Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 WE have to be fair.... their are some 14 year old mongs who give it large on the BHA site... frankly embarrassing, but if they cant tell the difference... from what i have seen though a fair bit of it is the typical banter that starts when it gets to the business end and two or three clubs look to take that top spot. FWIW, would love to win it, but second will do me and auto promotion. Our bad start has meant we have been on catch up since day 1, but since Nige has been here, I think his record is now promotion form, so we just neded to carry on as normal... the odd draw such as today is not going to make or braek the season... big games to come when this squad will need to show if its ready for it...

It's a bit disappointing as I was at Oldham and saw how we can play if you get in the opposition faces which we certainly didn't do today

derry Posted 16 January, 2011 Posted 16 January, 2011 The only thing I want the other teams competing for promotion with us, is to lose and for us to win otherwise I don't give a damn about them. The season is only halfway through and there is plenty of room for all the front runners including us to mess it up and others come out of mid table and grab promotion. I think the best thing to do is shut up about who is going to do what until it's done and dusted. Then the gloaters can gloat until August, if they have a small enough mind.
