Saintandy666 Posted 11 October, 2008 Share Posted 11 October, 2008 I saw something recently about the amount of adults who are meant to be keeping their one main cuddly toy thingy from their childhood(and I know I still have my one from when I was 2!). I was just wondering how many people here still have theres. Mine is called Doggy. It's a Dog. I had such imagination back then.

Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 11 October, 2008 Share Posted 11 October, 2008 Didnt have a cuddly toy no. However, on the topic of childhood toys, a lot of the toys I grew up with are worth a lodda money now. Things like Boglins, Garbage Pail Kids stickers, Monster in My Pocket, Micro Machines etc etc etc
bridge too far Posted 11 October, 2008 Share Posted 11 October, 2008 When my children were born, my mother's very close friend made each of them a teddy. She then 'unmade' them, washed the outsides and re-stuffed them many years later. My grandchildren now play with those bears
SNSUN Posted 11 October, 2008 Share Posted 11 October, 2008 I don't personally, as everything I had was handed down to my sister, but my missus still has a penguin called Noel that she received when she was about 10.

Dog Posted 11 October, 2008 Share Posted 11 October, 2008 I had a Gollywog named Gollywog, I used to use him to polish my school shoes as he was the same colour and the black shoe polish didn't effect his appearance. I think they are banned these days.

I think they are banned these days. I remember when you would get gollywog stickers on Robertson's jam which you could save up and exchange for gollywog badges which you would then wear with pride. Innocent days.
