trousers Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Via some hint dropping and reading-between-the-lines on the 'back from the Oldham game' thread, anyone know if Adam is actually injured or not?
Shroppie Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Understand he came off "after a knock" but nothing on the OS.
Saint-scooby Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Someone nip down to Staplewood and do some stalking ??
doggface Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Hamstring? As per policy I doubt we will hear confirmed until the team is announced.
Viking Warrior Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Hes done a Puncheon Trousers, hes about to be sold for 12 million to liverpool and decided to hop off the bus despite his new contract. Adam gets a slight knock we are winning handsomley and someone intimates that he went off for other reasons than resting him jeesh
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Paul Ince reads this forum don't forget.

The9 Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Paul Ince reads this forum don't forget. In which case I hear the latest in coaching technology is a cardboard sign with "SHOOT" written on it.
saint_stevo Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 In which case I hear the latest in coaching technology is a cardboard sign with "SHOOT" written on it. I am hoping we do some revolutionary stuff at training tonight then gaffer. Rather than 20mins of 5 yard passing........
trousers Posted 13 January, 2011 Author Posted 13 January, 2011 Paul Ince reads this forum don't forget. So do I.....and if he's as much in the dark as I am after reading this forum then mission accomplished!
SaintNeil90 Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Just been told he is out for 6 months. No idea whether its true or not, I thought there would be something on here about it. No idea where they got the info from
LGTL Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Just been told he is out for 6 months. No idea whether its true or not, I thought there would be something on here about it. No idea where they got the info from When he came off at Oldham he just went and sat on the bench, not down the tunnel with the physio/doctor. If it was anything as serious at a 6 month lay off surely he would have? Lets hope so anyway.
AK Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 According to The OS him and Hammond will require a fitness test before Saturday, though that doesn't mean much, due to NA's love of disinformation.
Saint Charlie Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 If he was out for 6 months then Im sure we will be very busy in the window. Most important player IMO, but sure its not that bad.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Look, is he ON or OFF the bus FFS? And if he's not on the bus, is he in the building?
Under Weststand Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/PreviewDetail/0,,10280~2265403,00.html According to this they are checking on Hammond & Lallana who have slight knocks from Tuesdays game.
Appy Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 We saw how much we struggled without him earlier in the seaso. Fingers crossed its something of nothing.
OldNick Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 weston is close to the family and so we will await his report for a clear answer
Window Cleaner Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 weston is close to the family and so we will await his report for a clear answer VMAN is the absolute fountain of knowledge though. Only LB got it right on more things. If VMAN says there might be bad news then I think you can take getting some news that isn't good as read.
Viking Saint Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 he walked off with what looked like a slight limp....looked like a precaution, nothing more....
St Chalet Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 reports vary from Slight knock to six months shocker.

Leicestersaint Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Where did this six months rumour come from?

alpine_saint Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 We saw how much we struggled without him earlier in the seaso. Fingers crossed its something of nothing. Yeah, but the squad is strong enough for promotion, innit ?
Colinjb Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Yeah, but the squad is strong enough for promotion, innit ? Yes blood. If Lallana is out, Puncheon has to stay, that simple for me.
Appy Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Yeah, but the squad is strong enough for promotion, innit ? When did i say that? innit?
Scudamore Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 A bit of bad news were the words used. I'd consider Lallana being out for six months more than a bit of bad news. For that reason i believe you lot have got the wrong end of the stick.

For that reason i believe you lot have got the wrong end of the stick. massively jumping the gun here, but on the off chance that he really is injured, how about Lee Cook on a short term loan whilst he (Lallana) gets fit?
trousers Posted 13 January, 2011 Author Posted 13 January, 2011 Is paul ince confused enough yet? Great move by the club to generate a smokescreen of confusion on here....or so it would seem...
Saint Charlie Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Solent twitter: Hammond and Lallana will have precautionary scans on minor calf injuries Puncheon trained today and fit to face Notts Co
alpine_saint Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 When did i say that? innit? Not you my friend. Just the local Fellowship of the Transfer Market on here - NickGandalf The Grey and Pergrine Turkish.
farawaysaint Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 Not you my friend. Just the local Fellowship of the Transfer Market on here - NickGandalf The Grey and Pergrine Turkish. I think we could do it without Lallana though it does make everything much more difficult and the Man U game a worry.
trousers Posted 13 January, 2011 Author Posted 13 January, 2011 Minor calf injury. Thank **** for that. Or so they say...
Dig Dig Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 If he was out as long term as 6 months it would be pointless hiding it just to create a smokescreen for Saturday. I think we would all be pretty ****ed if the club are advising of a minor injury and it turned out to be something serious. Just don't see the logic in it tbh
Appy Posted 13 January, 2011 Posted 13 January, 2011 I've not reason to think that the club aren't being honest about it. When he went off on Tuesday as people have said he went to the bench and not down the tunnel for further treatment. Possibly out of Saturday i'd guess, but back for Tranmere.
