dubai_phil Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 I don'y know why people are taking the pizz, since he's come we've had one of the most successful spells in my 50 years fanship. Let him say whatever he wants, if Burley and his successors had half Nigel's enthusiasm we wouldn't be sitting in L1 today. Woosh Pah, what would you expect from someone in the land of Volvo drivers. Why I bet they don't even HAVE buses over there. We're lucky, we have buses, we have normal ones, Double Decker ones and even Bendy ones. For many years we also had a real London Bus. David this is about the beginning of a new era of almost WGS affection that we haven't seen for a long long time. I'd love to get on the bus but unfortunately if I did that tonight, I'd be lucky to get back in time for the next Forum match so I'll just bumble up and down Al Wasl Road on one and wait until he tells us we're flying..... The wheels on the bus go round and round Loving It
Danish Saint Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Wouldn't you get fined for taking a pizz on the bus?
beatlesaint Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 There is more than one bus cos we have parked the Man Utd Cup fixture according to one of his interviews on the OS. We must have a bus station tucked away somewhere I guess !! And dont forget the "together as one" sign off after his matchday program notes ! Redondo Saint Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 See your point but, with respect, that's just a bit too surreal even for me, and I'm totally surreal. So I prefer the wheels on the bus going round and round. Of course, we'll have to teach it to fans not old enough to have children. fans not old enough to have children would already know it would they not as they are closer to being children than fans old enough to have children... I'll get my bus.
Spades Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 You know previously the Kingsland has had those cards that everyone holds up as the players run out... Perhaps against Utd on TV we should get the Kingsland to have cards that spell out 'On The Bus'.... Would confuse the hell out of the rest of the country (especially if we continued to sing about it during the game), and look quite good
Stud mark of doom Posted 12 January, 2011 Share Posted 12 January, 2011 Bizarrely, I think I went to a panto once where one half of the audience was asked to sing: The wheels on the bus go round and round round and round, round and round The wheels on the bust go round and round All Day Long Whilst at the same time the other half were singing in time... Oh when the saints, go marching in. Oh when the saints go marching in. I wanna be in that number. Oh when the saints go marching in. Seemed to work quite well. S-Clarke Posted 13 January, 2011 Share Posted 13 January, 2011 Listen, since we've been in the building we've inherited a fantastic group of hard working professionals. They're now on the bus and the wheels are in motion. It's as simple as that.

Crab Lungs Posted 14 January, 2011 Share Posted 14 January, 2011 My dad has a theory that he's doing it for fun, just tasking the p1ss. Beyond all the silly sound bites my dad reckon's he's being smart by giving absolutely nothing away and just talking the kind of cliched sh1te that people want/expect to hear. I wonder if he's correct, bearing in mind our Nige has qualifications coming out of his ears....

Thedelldays Posted 14 January, 2011 Share Posted 14 January, 2011 He is clearly a very articulate bright person.. After an interview or preview to a game... You still come away with no idea who is playing or injured... Job done.. The only time he slipped was when Solent interviewer after a recent game basically shouted at Nigel about new signings...and Nigel let slip about substantial bids

St Matty Posted 14 January, 2011 Share Posted 14 January, 2011 Friday 14th - What did he say this morning on Radio Solent about AOC? Something to do with "not sure what his goal celebration was all about - perhaps he was impersonating a Liver bird?", Very funny guy, and sounds like a good man manager as well.
