Best current form - joint with Notts County.

Our away form better than home

Not joint top at all Nick. ;) Yes, joint on points, but goal difference and goals scored is better which is how league positions are determined. It is only "joint top" if all these are equal.

I know what you mean when you say our away form is better than our home form, but actually our home form (W4 D1 L1) is better than our away form (W3 D1 L2). However, our position in the form tables is better for away form than home form, in other words it is better in relative terms.

Also, I find it interesting that there are discrepancies between this form table and the one on the Saints website: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/CurrentForm/0,,10280~201025,00.html

It appears there is some disagreement about Brentford's statistics! The OS has them with W4 D0 L2, while this other site has figures of W3 D0 L3. Not sure which one is correct!

Anyway, the all-important statistic is that we are the form team in League 1. Long may it continue!

gaining .5 point per game on Brighton, with game in hand effectively 6 points behind - 12 games - easy!

Looks like .67 to me, which relates to just under 9 games :D

Draw at home to team with best current form.

Leaves us second in current form with over 2 points per game.

I think our single loss in 6 (Brentford?) will fall off the table when we play Tranmere.....so if we avoid defeat our form stats are going to improve
