Tokyo-Saint Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 If Lallana is out, why don't we play the diamond formation as against Blackpool as we did against Blackpool but with Gully in the hole instead of Lallana? Hassling an Ince team high up the pitch and keep the middle of the pitch tight is not a bad idea either. It should give us plenty of the ball and frustrate them as well. We might even force him to write ‘shoot’ on a note pad as well or maybe even pass.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 The formation and the match was so good I said it twice.
Goalie66 Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 I really think that we are a class above teams in this league and we are approaching each game with confidence so much so that I would not be at all surprised if we get another six. By the way I am a good omen as I have not seen them lose at home this season from 8 games!!
Turkish Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 to be fair, he has served his sentence so he deserves a chance to get on with his life now. Hopefully it a more modest way using his position as a footballer to give something back to society either financially or giving his time to youth football projects etc. Agreed JRM, people labeling him "scum" are a bit over the top, he made a stupid mistake and has payed for it. At the end of the day he killed someone in a car accident, key word being accident. It's not the same as him beating the sh*t out of some innocent bloke in the street who looked at him funny or raping some bird because she told him to f*ck off. People are so quick to condem. I am in no way condoning drink driving etc or his actions but let him that without sin cast the first stone. And another thing is his job is a pro footballer and to say he should never work again becuase of a mistake and an accident is very judgemental. On that basis should anyone who commits a crime never be allowed to work again?
bjk Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Any news on Lallana yet,do we know if he's playing.
Matthew Le God Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Any news on Lallana yet,do we know if he's playing. Adkins doesn't divulge all the injury information as it gives him an advantage over the other manager.
captainchris Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Is that the same bus as all the Saints players are on? If so, we should be ok and win comfortably. Priceless...........
Saint Charlie Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Will tickets be available tomorrow? Should be, yes.
SamyCM Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Shame Bournemouth are winning, hopefully Colchester can level it up there.
Lets B Avenue Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Will tickets be available tomorrow? Bus tickets?
S-Clarke Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Colchester 1-1 B'mouth 2-1 to colchester now!
SamyCM Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Colchester 1-1 B'mouth and now Colchester are winning, would have taken a draw but this will do!
SamyCM Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Full time, win tomorrow takes us four points clear tomorrow COYS!
IFHP Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Full time, win tomorrow takes us four points clear tomorrow COYS! Not IF Huddersfield win as well.
Saints Warrior Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Saints 6 Notts Forrest (they dont like that) 0. Same scorers as the Oldham game!

IFHP Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Saints 6 Notts Forrest (they dont like that) 0. Same scorers as the Oldham game! Most Saints fans would want Forrest to win tomorrow.
dannysfc Posted 14 January, 2011 Posted 14 January, 2011 Most Saints fans would want Forrest to win tomorrow. Yeh I for one sure do IFHP Mate and I think they will beat Pompey and fingers crossed the Forest goals will be scored by Ex-Saints players as that would be pretty funny lol ! COYR !!

Jonnyboy Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Will tickets be available tomorrow? going to a match??!!
SamyCM Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Not IF Huddersfield win as well. I meant of Bournemouth, but we have a game in hand over Huddersfield which if we keep winning when we play should mean we would be four points clear.
hutch Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 I meant of Bournemouth, but we have a game in hand over Huddersfield which if we keep winning when we play should mean we would be four points clear. Isn't that what Brighton are saying about us?
West End Saint Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Going to be a tough game today tougher still if Lallana dosent play he makes us tick & will be a huge miss IF out it would be fantastic to keep the momentum going you have to believe if we play the way we have been we will win. We got away with it at there place 3 1 flattered us we should have been 2 or 3 down by the time we got the peno but history has a habbit of repeating its self so I am going to have a couple of quid on 3 1. Come on you Mighty Saints lets keep the bus at full speed ahead
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Not wanting to get carried away with our recent goalscoring feats i will try to be cautiously optimistic and say 2 nil... COYS
silversaint Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Suprised no one is being cautious about this one. Got to remember we are all Saints fans. This amazing feeling is very likely to implode and I hope everyone stays positive when it does. Heart says 2-1. Head says 0-1.
SamyCM Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Isn't that what Brighton are saying about us? Suppose they need to worry about themselves and not us. We can only win and put pressure on them.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Got money on 4-0 and 5-0. Don't mind which.
dubai_phil Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Suprised no one is being cautious about this one. Got to remember we are all Saints fans. This amazing feeling is very likely to implode and I hope everyone stays positive when it does. Heart says 2-1. Head says 0-1. Just when we start to expect, we always get a kick in the butt to remind us. Also as mentioned before EoA is at the game and I don't recall him ever seeing us win
Dogs Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Dont worry,i have just bet a fiver on Notts Co to win at 6-1 on Betfair, that will put the mockers on them.....i always do that....i never win on my football bets.
saints-cris Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Definately cautious of this one, think they're joint with us on current form (last 6 games) so by no means gunna be a walk in the park. When we go ahead we make it really easy for ourselves. Have to keep this run going, and with Sheff Wed v Charlton we can get away from one of them at least. Big game.
silversaint Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Just when we start to expect, we always get a kick in the butt to remind us. Also as mentioned before EoA is at the game and I don't recall him ever seeing us win Great stuff!! Hopefully a first.
Matthew Le God Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 2-2 draw Now this is what you call chocolate boxes...
stevy777_x Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Got a feeling one of our important players will get injured today, a broken leg or something similar. Never had that kind of feeling before...
Cricketphilly Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Got a feeling one of our important players will get injured today, a broken leg or something similar. Never had that kind of feeling before... Jesus, you're a bag of joy!
Gingeletiss Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Got a feeling one of our important players will get injured today, a broken leg or something similar. Never had that kind of feeling before... Alps, you've changed your user name!
Jonnyboy Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 If Lallana is out it will be a real test to see how we cope. Id also go with a cautious 2-1 Saints
Window Cleaner Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Also as mentioned before EoA is at the game and I don't recall him ever seeing us win What never?? Not even in his pre-gulf existence? Must be like the Ravens at the Tower of London then, a real harbinger of impending doom.
Saint Stimp Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Saints Vs Notts County. Davis©. Richardson, Fonte, Jaidi, Dickson. Chamberlain, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Puncheon. Guly, Lambert
Window Cleaner Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Team time then: Davis©. Richardson, Fonte, Jaidi, Dickson. Chamberlain, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Puncheon. Guly, Lambert So no Lallana as very much expected, will have to wait and see if he's on the bench.
SuperMikey Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Is Barney on the bench? Or is he unavailable to play?
Saint Stimp Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Is Barney on the bench? Or is he unavailable to play? Here's the bench - Bialkowski, Butterfield, Harding, Barnard, Seaborne, Doble, Gobern
Window Cleaner Posted 15 January, 2011 Posted 15 January, 2011 Is Barney on the bench? Or is he unavailable to play? On the bench, no Hammond either though (no Lallana as well) so that'd be Bart, Harding,Butters,Gobern,Doble,Barney and Seaborne I think.
