"i see guly on the score sheet every week but to be honest he is not that good"

is what me and my family just heard on the television, i think this is absolutely ridiculous and stupid but tbh he did call Barnard, Bernard.

I also liked when he was asked "Can Southampton over-haul Brighton at the top of league 1 and win the league/"

He replied "Oh yeah, easily, easy, no doubt at all."

Brighton fans will love that. FACT.

ex- skate, alcoholic, coke-head. always over-shadowed by a fellow sky colleague(;) ) explains everything.

(did love his beer monster goal celebration though)

Don't forget he's a wife beater and gambling addict too.

Christ, he really must've fitted in down the other end of the M27

Did I not hear Chaplow call Lee "Barnyard" this morning on Solent?

Not just me then!

Back to Paul Merson, he's dyslexic. That's why he has trouble with some of the more 'exotic' sounding names.

I like him, he's pretty amusing when doing his punditry.

Merson just seemed p*ssed off that we were winning comfortably and he also made some sarky comment about us being good but not premiership class. What does he expect ffs, we are a really good L1 side aiming to get back to the prem and no one is pretending we are premiership class yet.

Although he did make some good comments about us I found he had a general attitude regarding covering a L1 game especially with us involved.

I have always liked the guy but last night I found him f*cking irratating.

Ditto - like him normally because he can be funny - not always intentionally, but he was the same last weekend when they got the whole panel to cover lower league games - he had the same (poor) attitude
