South Today - Wednesday Night - headline and picture of Mr E. Howe - "Is this the most loyal man in football?"

Friday Lunchtime - NO !

Priceless

Feel for them cos I know how I would feel if it was us.

All it needs now is for someone to poach Gus Poyet from Brighton , and we'll have it made ..or ...?

There's a train of thought that says that having another 'hard to beat' club in the top 2 will do us a favour as they will (hopefully) beat some of the clubs trying to catch us. It's then a simple of matter of us winning a couple of more games than Brighton do in order to secure the title....Easy.

was it over when the germans bombed pearl harbour?

Wonder what they will do tonight ?

Will they go and play out of their skins for him one last time or will they not give a toss ?

Howe's team talk would be worth hearing.

Hahaha. Bournemouths chairman deserved that after his cringeworthy annoucement he made the other day outside their stadium that Howe was staying. You could see how uncomfortable Howe looked, now it seems we know why!

Do feel a bit sorry for the fans, especially as they were led to believe he was staying

Bye bye bompey!

Second World War history not his strong point then.

I've just recognised the ref as the same tw at we had at Colchester last season. The game in the fog.

He looks like the sort of numpty that would have been bullied at school. so turns to officialdom to gain some sort of revenge.

Isn't that the case with most referees?

He's just confirmed he's off to Burnley tomorrow to finalise things. That was his last game as Bournemouth boss.

Said he rejected five clubs in his time at Bournemouth.

Cortese lying about only offering Adkins the job?

What a fantastic job he's done there. (Great news for us that he's gone though).

I trust Cortese far more than Howe and Mitchell - we've been through all this before anyway.

tbf he comes across so well as a manager, fair play to him for wanting to better himself. What he's done at bournemouth with no money is truly amazing. They were an hour from non-league football less than 2 years ago, amazing.

He's also just confirmed that his replacement will come from someone already at the club. Fletcher mentioned.

oops! reminds me of our stewart gray days....here's hoping he has the same amount of success

good result - B'mth and Charlton - new managers without experience

Best situation with Howe/Tindall out of the equation with either Bompey maintaining their good record or Charlton having a surge under their management.
