Dog Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 127 Hours is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston's remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah. Over the next five days Ralston examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage and the wherewithal to extricate himself by any means necessary, scale a 65 foot wall and hike over eight miles before he is finally rescued. Great Film, go and watch it, but if you do, don't read the above or watch the trailer as you will spoil the film. 9/

Pancake Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Hilarious film. Is Eddie Murphy as good as he was in the first one?
Dog Posted 10 January, 2011 Author Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Hilarious film. Which part? I did start LOLing when he started to masterbate in his cave.
Dog Posted 10 January, 2011 Author Share Posted 10 January, 2011 I did puke my candyfloss up, when he started to eat his own turds with a teaspoon.
Ludwig Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Which part? I did start LOLing when he started to masterbate in his cave. That bit was funny as ****, as was the arm-chopping bit as well as multiple other parts where it was inappropriate to laugh. I guess it depends on the company (and the whispered jokes) you keep, but it was ****ing hilarious.
Dog Posted 10 January, 2011 Author Share Posted 10 January, 2011 What I thought was a load of rubbish was the fact that he didn't cut his arm off straight away, knowing it was stuck for good, then he would've made the party and copped off with the fat one with the hair lip. Ludwig Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 I thought it was ridiculous that he didn't follow through with the **** - not as though anyone was watching.
thesaint sfc Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Shouldn't this be in The Arts? Honestly, this place has fallen apart since I quit admin.
Dog Posted 10 January, 2011 Author Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Is his hand/arm still in his cave do you think? I wonder who found his camcorder and soggy tissues.
Dimond Geezer Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Is his hand/arm still in his cave do you think? I wonder who found his camcorder and soggy tissues. Here's your answer from wiki: "His arm was removed from under the boulder and retrieved by park authorities. It was cremated by Ralston, and he brought the ashes of his cremated hand and scattered them there." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron_Ralston It doesn't make any mention of soggy tissues & camcorders though. Dog Posted 10 January, 2011 Author Share Posted 10 January, 2011 The bit where he cuts through his main nerve was the highlight of the show.
