Tom8558 Posted 8 January, 2011 Posted 8 January, 2011 Sat in the chapel today and for once the majority of people were chanting. Just goes to show we can be won over in the end
sfc4prem Posted 8 January, 2011 Posted 8 January, 2011 People usually sing in there, but there's not enough to notice from other stands.
latter day saint Posted 8 January, 2011 Posted 8 January, 2011 me & my mate did notice it today from the Northam. was good to see all parts of the ground singing & getting behind the team.
rocknrollman no2 Posted 8 January, 2011 Posted 8 January, 2011 A few of my friends who normally stand in the Northam had to go into the Chapel because they could not get their normal seats. They said a lot of singing was going on,so i suspect that the Chapel had a lot of different fans in there today, compaired with the normal quiet lot.

Yes I'm normally one of the blanket and thermos brigade in the Chapel. Found myself in the Itchen today right next to the away fans I excpected loads of singing but it seemed really quite apart from a little chant of "PL you having a laugh" at the end to upset Hollowhead. Ah well back to the peace and quite of the Chapel next week.
hamster Posted 8 January, 2011 Posted 8 January, 2011 One day this will not raise an eybrow, it's the natural home end imo.
Junction 9 Posted 9 January, 2011 Posted 9 January, 2011 I moved from the Notrtham to the Chapel today for a change, maybe a few had the same idea?
John Boy Saint Posted 9 January, 2011 Posted 9 January, 2011 Oi oi! This thread has the danger of becoming we are betterer fans than you, it's almost like well we have nowt to moan about on the pitch: let's pick on each other. Everyone is happy with where they sit for whatever reason, some sing more than others, some snooze more than others, let's all live and let live and enjoy the adventure.
Vershinin Posted 9 January, 2011 Posted 9 January, 2011 me & my mate did notice it today from the Northam. was good to see all parts of the ground singing & getting behind the team. It was great to hear all sides of the ground in fine voice yesterday. Hope it continues.
