Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 10 October, 2008 Posted 10 October, 2008 Quite a few I would expect, or else they would've cancelled the gig due to poor ticket sales.

bridge too far Posted 10 October, 2008 Posted 10 October, 2008 I am not going but I do find him very funny. Probably just as well, with your broken nose and all that.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 10 October, 2008 Posted 10 October, 2008 Probably just as well, with your broken nose and all that. You may have me confused with someone else.
Durleyfos Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 I saw Jethro at the Mayflower with two broken ribs, having been on the sharp end of a good kicking the night before. That hurt like hell.
Pancake Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 I saw Jethro at the Mayflower with two broken ribs, having been on the sharp end of a good kicking the night before. That hurt like hell. How on earth did he manage to get through a whole set with 2 cracked ribs?
Tac-tics Posted 13 October, 2008 Author Posted 13 October, 2008 Jimmy was brilliant, I cant believe someone is so quick witted. We did get called ****s though =] but he laid in to Pompey ha
Crouchie's Lawyer Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 Jimmy was brilliant, I cant believe someone is so quick witted. We did get called ****s though =] but he laid in to Pompey ha Saw him at the Mayflower a month or so ago. T'was very funneh, like you say, very quick witted
Kadeem Hardison Posted 13 October, 2008 Posted 13 October, 2008 Jimmy was brilliant, I cant believe someone is so quick witted. We did get called ****s though =] but he laid in to Pompey ha This doesn't strike me as quick witted, so much as falling back on the comedic crutch that so many stand-ups do: roll out a few gags about the neighbouring town/city. Lazy stuff. I saw JC in Southampton a few years ago and thought he was alright at best.

saintwarwick Posted 14 October, 2008 Posted 14 October, 2008 I saw Jethro at the Mayflower with two broken ribs, having been on the sharp end of a good kicking the night before. That hurt like hell. Jethro is brilliant imo, hope you enjoyed it. I was at the Lee Evans gig on Friday (NIA), absolutely brilliant and three hours of pure enjoyment and comedy.
