I've just read that Olivier Thomas has been released by Nantes

He's getting on a bit but he really is a very good right back. The club should look at him, won't cost a fortune, won't ask for a very long deal either.Give Lloyd James time to catch a breather before getting better.

Never understood why we didn't keep him, I mean, even we could have scraped up 300K for a player that wasn't at all bad. Probably had some sort of spat with Burley.

Agree and you could say the same apples to Bennett who i think went to Brentford from Reading after playing well for Saints after a terrible start.

I still believe we should move Cork there. It'll still be a young back four but play Cork, lancashire, Perry and Mills. Wotton could stand in for either Perry or Lancashire as required.

Agreed, once Morgan is fit again we should move Cork back to RB.

Probably BS since he's played plenty of games as a RB or a midfielder.

You forget, Bennett was the worst player to ever pull on a Saints shirt. There were plenty of fans on here which swore blind they'd do a better job than him.

Yes for his first few games partnering Makin with no other centre half available. Bennett began to look good at this level in the games i watched later in his spell here.
