Looking forward to the highlights on this one, Guly must be signed, he's on fire at the moment, feel sorry for Barnard, he must be gagging for a start, but always play your in form players. The last three games on the spin there has been a marked improvement,prior to that i stand by my inital opinion that something was not all well at SFC between whatever Adkins was trying to do and the application of the players. And if you look back,hindsight is a wonderful thing,plenty on here often hinted the same yet not in the same vocal way that i did,but it's my opinion so i will express it how i wish.Everyone is now crowing because we have done well,i see it as we are doing better than we were,perhaps i alone will raise my head from the parapit. I will not bow down to others because they believe differently. We were not performing well,lets hope that has changed A) for the better,B) for the longterm. Just because i was not wetting myself over his appointment and thought whatever he would touch would turn to gold from the off,does not make me wrong. Lets be honest, mother Theresa should be able to get this side to perform and get promotion from League one. Onwards and upward. See, you don't have to result to insults. If we can improve we will do but won't just do it for the sake of thigs. Interviewer - Is there a budget ? Adkins - yes, behind closed doors we have made offers for players, substantial offers but we will see what happens, we only want to improve the squad. The chairman has been fantastic. Interviewer - Damien Comolli was here again today, do you think he has been looking at AOC ? Adkins - He was probably looking at their leftback, he was good for a young lad wasn't he ?? lol Sounds promising, i don't think we need a lot of change, especially if we keep an on form Guly but any player that improves what we have would be fantasic.

I really don't know what the issues are. However look at sites with far bigger resources than TSW like Twitter that regulary can't cope with periods of huge demand. Images are of course fine, but I would hazzard a guess that with the amount of "F5" hitting going on it will slow things up. Add to that the people with low bandwith in far flung places who rely on the thread and I really don't see the need for those type of images.

Looks like the league we're in is the limiting factor in terms of targets, not money, and we don't want people to know who our targets are, probably to stop fan/media speculation and other teams getting involved.

I doubt they care much about the FA Cup(and I don't particularly either) 2. They are at present a mid table prem team, we are not in the same ball park. However with us at home and what is likely to be a 2nd string Blackpool team, we must have a chance.

You can't ban images because one or two people may or may not have enough bandwith, thats rediculous. I know you probably don't really know the issues, but my point is i really don't know of any other forums especially football ones you have to pay for, we do, and more often then not it fails. FootballForums.net rarely goes down and they often have many many many people online. It may help if Baj and Granty actually bothered to check in from time to time but it feels a little bit like, especially from Steve, TSW has been dropped.

With all the resources on the web to get up to the minute news and commentary I don't see a need for this forum either. I subscribe to it though, to be in touch with like minded people on match day. If I wanted the bare facts of the game I would stay solely with the miriad of impersonal bare bones sites.

Exactly this, Plus we have a good team for the league i suppose and it must be very hard to get players to drop down, but then i think it may be easier in january than in august. For instance i think it was easier for us to grab Fonte when Palarse looked like dropping down and we were on the up than at the start of the season. I would love to see new players, every fan does, but we don't really NEED many more players, unless exceptional players come up that would improve us. Lets not sign players for the sake of it.

I echo the feeling that these add character and banter. Lose the potential for that you lose the soul of the forum.

I was under the impression that we had a big unveiling of the site a few months back, and could cope with most things!!!!! Im confident that Baj and Steve will let us know what is going on.
