I don't think anyone has even tried to deny your stadium will be better. However, I'm sure I speak for many by saying I'd be devastated if Saints were currently playing in 22500 capacity stadium (whether it's "nice" or not"). It speaks volumes that your fans are all over the moon really.

22500.

Lol.

I have zero respect for a club with a ground that I did a bleep test round, and walked into, walked across the pitch, sat in the dugouts on a college break while no one stopped us, and still left underwhelmed.

Your ahletics track is embarrassing. Your sparking new stadium will be slightly bigger than Pompeys. Oh the envy!

Brighton average crowd last ten years has been between 5900 and 6800

ten years before that average between 2300 and 8400

1985 last time they had over 10,000

short period around 1978 they were just over 20,000

before that lower

since 1947, two years around 24/25k, three around 20000 rest pitiful

Why are you looking at the bigger picture? They had a bigger crowd than us 3 times I'll have you know.

Why are people so wound up about this? If Brighton want to manufacture some sort of rivalry with us then that is up to them. I don't consider them rivals in any other aspect than going for the title. In fact it will be refreshing to see a different team make a go of it and their new stadium will help them - whether they have the fanbase to fill it or not.

The fact they've got a massive reaction from some of you is all they were after and you've obliged.

Our ground is similar to Derby and Leicester's. Good job Derby and Leicester's grounds have a decent capacity really.

22500.

Lol.

But can you fill yours to near capacity? No! And there you were telling me your fan bas e was huge but not loyal though!

If you add together the average attendances of the skates, seaweed and Bournemuff for this season the grand average is 29,000. Should the skates get relegated and the two punch & judy outfits choke (perish the thought) a merger may well be needed to fill the Louis Spence Falmer Thunderdome.

22500 LMFAO...

Wear a coat if your scared you'll get wet. Its only 90 mins.

Your at near capacity, whereas we sell 3 times what you do on average. You cant win an attendance argument so you may wana clutch at another straw.

If you're moving here BHA i might go across to the brighton forum, they seem a decent bunch, have good taste in music and don't have a right wing imperialist nutjob jumping into every thread to talk about Thatcher.

All i need to do is convince them to support the right team ;)

Out of all the south coast teams i find you the most arrogant. You think you are bigger and better than the rest when at the end of the day you are a nobody! Your ground is nothing special that i would write home about its home and thats it! Im no Brighton fan but have seen what there fans have to put up with and round the corner they have a magnificent stadium may not be as big but its status and build quality will put yours to shame! Being a man united supporter i dont go round promoting we have the biggest ground and biggest fan base its irelevant you should support the team you love and adore! So compared to united you are atiny tin pot club from the south who basically have achieved nothing in there time but that would be unfair for me to say that.
