scott_saints Posted 4 January, 2011 Share Posted 4 January, 2011 From 1958.. Wow. Comparing some of both clubs highest attendances ever does prove they have a bigger fan base though 22500. Lol.
Johnny Bognor Posted 4 January, 2011 Share Posted 4 January, 2011 serious? Shows very little ambition and potential support. All league clubs aiming for championship level are going for 30k plus Not at all, they'll have the best ground in League 1, the season after next

However, I'm sure I speak for many by saying I'd be devastated if Saints were currently playing in 22500 capacity stadium (whether it's "nice" or not"). It speaks volumes that your fans are all over the moon really. 22500. Lol.

I have zero respect for a club with a ground that I did a bleep test round, and walked into, walked across the pitch, sat in the dugouts on a college break while no one stopped us, and still left underwhelmed. Lallana's Left Peg Posted 4 January, 2011 Share Posted 4 January, 2011 Why are people so wound up about this? If Brighton want to manufacture some sort of rivalry with us then that is up to them. I don't consider them rivals in any other aspect than going for the title. In fact it will be refreshing to see a different team make a go of it and their new stadium will help them - whether they have the fanbase to fill it or not. The fact they've got a massive reaction from some of you is all they were after and you've obliged.

Miltonaggro Posted 4 January, 2011 Share Posted 4 January, 2011 If you add together the average attendances of the skates, seaweed and Bournemuff for this season the grand average is 29,000. Should the skates get relegated and the two punch & judy outfits choke (perish the thought) a merger may well be needed to fill the Louis Spence Falmer Thunderdome. 22500 LMFAO... BHA Posted 4 January, 2011 Share Posted 4 January, 2011 Out of all the south coast teams i find you the most arrogant. You think you are bigger and better than the rest when at the end of the day you are a nobody! Your ground is nothing special that i would write home about its home and thats it! Im no Brighton fan but have seen what there fans have to put up with and round the corner they have a magnificent stadium may not be as big but its status and build quality will put yours to shame! Being a man united supporter i dont go round promoting we have the biggest ground and biggest fan base its irelevant you should support the team you love and adore! So compared to united you are atiny tin pot club from the south who basically have achieved nothing in there time but that would be unfair for me to say that.
