Nottingham Forest have hit hard times and are trying to cut the wages of high earners Earnsham, Nathan Tyson, and Dexter Blackstock.....as well as others in the squad.

All three of the above named are available in the January window....

Dexter is injured for the next 12 months isn't he? Done his knee.

I wonder how close we really did come to getting Tyson though. I'd still go back in for him, his pace is frightening.

I here Tyson is pretty good though, sure NA will bring in what he feels is needed or fits into his style of play. Remember NC wants promotion and I think we do have some extra funds if needed.

Dexter Blackstok,no.

Other two,yep.

why no? He is a decent player and good at this level and the Championship. He is out injured for a year though so academic.

I think he is well on the way to full recovery and expected to start training in the next couple of weeks.

As for Tyson I think he was a casualty of the Pardew/Cortese spat.

Don't know where you got your info from mate, I live in Nott'm and they def aint skint, they're in for 4 or 5 players themselves including a £2m bid for Woolford at Scunny. We may be able to tempt them into selling Tyson but he was M.O.M against Derby on Wednesday

from here... several players contracts are up and yet to be sorted, and some are being asked to take a cut.http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/news/Paul-Taylor-column-Money-loyalty-talk-contract-players-debate-futures-Forest/article-3034104-detail/article.html

Doesn't say they are skint! Just that some players are out of contract same as every club. They are pushing for the prem and are buying not selling. If we want one of their players we won't get them on the cheap. Aparently McGoogan ( excuse the spelling ) nearly came here on loan last Jan, real shame we didn't get him could have been the differance in us making the play offs

never look back always look forwards... game on!!

Unless Bale or Theo wanted to come back, but you know what I mean!!

I agree with you and also with the type of exception you make... If the player is better than we have now and will add quality to the team, I'd welcome them back. I think a fit Dexter would do this, so I'd welcome him back. He and Lambert together could bag a lot of goals.

Otherwise, never go back.

Who told you that? He done his cruciate just a couple of months ago, an injury that usually results in a 9-12 month absence.
