BWP is the only one i really know and stangely thinking, that wouldnt be so bad

i can't think of anyone else they have that would improve us.

 

they're where they are in L1 for a reason.

Craig Noone..definitely...playing well and previously highly rated when on loan at Exeter.

 

Winger or midfield player..Right age and definite tricky young player with good attitude......

 

ideal replacement for Punch..if as seems not coming back.

 

Hope Noone has not been snapped up by Brighton.

Plymouth beat us 1-0 on the opening game of the season. We were sh1t.

Rory Paterson Striker if we had injuries up front?

 

Craig Noone (very good) would be my only certainty but with Lallana, AOC and Dickson..would be a squad player to replace Holmes.

 

All border line but frankly no better than what we have...

Brighton have not bought him yet, and at 250k its a decent fee, if i were adkins i would stick a bid in, and then sell the clubs ideas. Surely we are a better bet then Brighton unless he is offered 1st choice football ?

S_S, you seem to be forgetting that BWP is dogsh!te. He may have scored a few at this level, but we're building a team for the Championship and he was absolutely gash for us at that level. There are far better out there.

some fans actualy rated BWP and totally disagreed with the `lazy' tag. Noone deal not complete by the way. I always liked Fallon. Might be a decent impact sub should we need to go long.

S_S, you seem to be forgetting that BWP is dogsh!te. He may have scored a few at this level, but we're building a team for the Championship and he was absolutely gash for us at that level. There are far better out there.

 

I am on about noone, i hate BWP ;) and yes despite his recent foray of goals i still think he is gash

on loan and not getting game time. I'm far from convinced, he's just one o9f those strikers that causes us problems. Realistically we're not after a long ball merchant though.

 

I wonder if Connelly will go out on loan from our place. Adkins doesn't seem to rate him.

Shame - he would have been a good addition to give a break to Lallana and particularly Chambo. Wonder how much they paid? Probably worth £4-500k.
Initial bid of £250k rejected, but unofficially this has been upped to £300k apparently.

I think they have a rude awakening coming in jan when he goes for no more than £250k

Noone was first choice player and captain - on left wing I believe.

 

Brighton's form has gone since they lost their winger - LuaLua.

 

They would have been more desperate to fill that position so offer more, and likely to always start.

 

We have Lallana on left - probably our strongest position. He would not have started over Lallana!

 

Depends what happens with Puncheon and Ox-C whether we need first team winger
