Saint in Paradise Posted 29 December, 2010 Share Posted 29 December, 2010 A US man who could face up to five years in prison for reading his wife's emails has labelled his arrest as "insane" and "outrageous". Michigan computer technician Leon Walker was charged with felony misuse of a computer after he used her password to log on to his wife's email account. Walker, 33, suspected she was having an affair — and he turned out to be right. "It's outrageous, it's insane," Walker told American TV network ABC of the charges. "I definitely feel it was okay to confirm (the affair) by reading her email in our home." Walker was able to access his wife's email account because she kept her password in a book beside the computer. http://lifestyle.msn.co.nz/nzmenslifestyle/gadgets/8189953/husband-could-go-to-jail-for-hacking-wifes-email

buctootim Posted 30 December, 2010 Share Posted 30 December, 2010 If I was on the jury I wouldn't convict someone of a charge like that, even if they had technically broken the law.
Saint Billy Posted 30 December, 2010 Share Posted 30 December, 2010 I found my ex wife out because I discovered notes about it in her affair in her diary, and yes I was suspicious and looking for proof, so presumerably that was breaking the law then.
