St Chalet Posted 3 September, 2011 Share Posted 3 September, 2011 I rated Puncheon as a player, thought he always worked hard. The issues appear to be on the training ground and off the field, hopefully the lad will sort these out before it is too late.
SuperMikey Posted 3 September, 2011 Share Posted 3 September, 2011 He does. His work rate was always top notch. He just couldn't hit a barn door at the start of last season and then had his strop/falling out with the club. I remember the Leyton Orient match at the start of last season (first game after Markus' death) where Puncheon took a shot from inside the penalty area which went 55 yards over the top of the bar and almost hit the roof of the stadium. I would suggest that is the epitomy of not being able to hit a barn door.

Barry the Badger Posted 4 September, 2011 Share Posted 4 September, 2011 my thoughts exactly...i remember how he tore Leeds apart two seasons ago Bloody loved him when he first joined. We used to bet on him every game as he always looked likely to score cutting in off the right.
St Chalet Posted 4 September, 2011 Share Posted 4 September, 2011 I heard from a very reliale source some interesting stuff about his loan to qpr. Apparently when he went to loftus road and was filmed by sky running into the stadium QPR hadn't been given permission to talk to him by saints. Saints spotted him at the ground on the TV and phoned qpr to find out why they were approaching our player without permission (which they denied until they realised it had been on TV). QPR then to keep out of trouble agreed to an inflated loan fee to take the player. PMSL. Can someone pretend to be from Spurs and get Forecast to White Hart Lane next deadline day?
