Hopefully just added another 100k to his price.

I've always stood by my 500k value for him... I may need to adjust that after this recent goal flurry.

What a shame he's so temperamental.

He's not temperamental just wants to play and not be on the bench that's all. It's a problem we could find spreads pretty fast as well.

thought Morgan looked more up for it, more involved and more creative than Hammond last game.

Would start with him and Chaplow

you might, NA won't though.

he might!

There was a brief comment on The Sun website that JP was a target of Newcastle. Desperate link to AP methinks, but amusing nonetheless.

While with us he was both **** and on form in equal measures, which was his biggest problem, IMO.

The problem now is he will have it in his head he is better than us and League 1, he will have attracted interest from other clubs and chances are, he's gone.

What gets me, is surely a part of being a coach and part of the investment SFC have made in youth development, is coaching inconsistent players with questionable attitudes. Why aren't we looking to keep, coach and improve him?

Why is it always the players fault. Personally I think its down to the manager as much as the player to try and get the best out of him.

This.

The management and coaches have to play their part also.

Adkins made a big error of judgment shipping him out.

Whatever the misdemenour is, managers are their to manage.

it isn't. But it doesn't mean it never is.

It isn't always, but this respect I firmly believe it is.

When we signed Puncheon we were warned by fans of Plymouth and MK that he is a temperamental character. He wants to be first choice, he deservedly isn't here at the moment, so he wants out. At Millwall he is and he is rewarding them for it. If we brought him back, he wouldn't play well for us.

Changing a player’s questionable attitude is down to the player alone and not the coaching staff. If the player in question is not willing to listen, adapt and change then there is bugger all the club's staff can do about it!

So it is down to Jason Puncheon alone and no one else!

Good riddance to a bad egg I say.

The club is bigger than the player, but then should Man U sack off Rooney, or Man City lose Tevez?

I disagree. You say it's down to the player alone to listen, adapt and change... who is he listening to if it's not the clubs coaching staff? Who is helping him adapt? Who is guiding and shaping the changes required if it's not the coaching staff?

Attitude is just as important as technical ability and can and should be taught and coached.

Puncheon is just s h i t, a league 2 player at best, glad he's gone

Mmmm..just the 3 goals today.

Agreed, he's total rubbish !

maybe we should sell him ?

ah ..who was the last Saints player to score a hat-trick ?

Good couple of goals for him today.

He only signed for us at the beginning of the season, he's ours for ages and after todays two goals we can demand a large fee.

Has Leftback posted since Puncheon started scoring goals....?

This takes me back to the takeover posts, but Trousers, I like your thinking

Keep banging them in Punch and we'll take the cash. Don't want you back with your crap attitude to Saints and your clown shooting boots which you deliberately wore on the wrong feet when you were with us. Because you are a *****.

Millwall update on Puncheon:

Jackett: "Without a doubt (trying to extend loan) going to be work for Tuesday morning"

I read into that: "We have no money to sign him - I hope to god no-one comes in and bids for him"

Lol,

Yup, Puncheon, Guly and Morgan are utter crap. Get shot of them.

Same old crap.

One day people will get it, maybe, i doubt it though.

I think our recent performances would suggest its not a massive error of judgement .... would we be doing better with him in the team?!

One thing i have come to noticed is that the average fan knows very little about football.

'Its just about scoring goals'

No......no its not.

Apparently " its about winning games of football. Simple as that".

Happy he is doing well there. Rated him for many years and have been dissapointed with the way some fans have singled him out for stick. We're not missing him at the moment but its a long old season and an injury of two would bring him back into the side and we might be relying on his performnces if we are to get promoted. Sadly it feels as though the two parties won't make up and he won't return.
