It's actually a pretty cool place compared to England as its medditeranean with lots of beatiful beaches. The weather is therefore really hot 99% of the year. I had to come down during the 1% though didn't I....brrrrrrr

I had to come down during the 1% though didn't I....brrrrrrr do you mean that literally for 361.35 days a year the weather is really hot and you happen to have been unlucky enough to chose the 3.65 days of the year to be there when it is not? If you stay for a week surely at just over the half way point the weather will become really hot again and you can take advantage of those beautiful beaches.

Well, you may jest dear friend but apart from the cold wind it is clear blue skies outside and I personally could hit the beach right now. My tree trunk legs and large physique would protect me from the cold sea and the elements. But yes 1 1/2 days till the percentages are truly on my side ;-)
