saint lard Posted 24 December, 2010 Share Posted 24 December, 2010 Saw this and i am looking to make a prchase of a new TV,obviously i am not minted and looked into this model and it appears a good price. Has had some very good reviews when i delved deeper. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5294615.htm Unfortunately i am driven by budget otherwise i know i could get something much grander. stevegrant Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 Seems reasonable enough, but if you're quick tomorrow morning, you could get this one from Richer Sounds for only £50 more. Alternatively, also for £50 more, you could get this 40" model.
Draino76 Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 I was looking at this very TV for my bedroom. I know its 37" but I read some very bad reviews about it. I went for a Toshiba 32" with full HD and freeview HD tuner built in. http://www.kikatek.com/product_info.php?products_id=149596 We're loving it here, its the best value TV with freeview HD built in. I see Argos have cut the price now; http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002451&langId=-1&searchTerms=32RV
hypochondriac Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 Pfft. Bought a sony 32 inch off a poster on here for 50 quid. Scarts at the back don't work but never use them anyway. Result.
Andy_Porter Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 I've just bought this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BVI4C6/ Got to be worth spending a little more on a Sony that will last you a fair bit longer.

saint lard Posted 26 December, 2010 Author Share Posted 26 December, 2010 (edited) I've just bought this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BVI4C6/ Got to be worth spending a little more on a Sony that will last you a fair bit longer. Loving that,i would love a sony tbh,my father has one and its superb. I also need x2 scarts and the one in the op has x1,bugger. I can see myself reluctantly pushing the boat out further and further. Thankyou all for your input, must dash sales start today,i must weigh up all the options as i am rather compulsive when shopping, lots of thing to consider Edited 26 December, 2010 by saint lard

solentstars Posted 27 December, 2010 Share Posted 27 December, 2010 I've just bought this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BVI4C6/ Got to be worth spending a little more on a Sony that will last you a fair bit longer. was going to get that one but when i saw the lg 37 inch hdfreeview model no 37ld490 at richer sounds has recommended by the sales person because of the better picture quality at £399, its picture quality was far superior so i went for that glad i,ve got it now.
