Is anyone else planning on stocking up the freezer with hams, turkeys etc at discount prices just before closing time this evening?

 

I find that Tesco's are pretty stingey with their reductions, but the co-op usually make some really big reductions.

Brilliant Dune! Buy fresh Turkeys with 20% off and then freeze them, ignoring the fact that frozen turkeys are less than half the price of fresh. Have you sent this tip to Viz?

Actually smartarse there were no Turkeys, or hams, but there were ducks at 1/2 price which are now in the freezer.

The local Waitrose where Mrs D works didn't reduce anything, much to the disgust of the customers. Instead they sold it all to the staff at the end of the day at stupid prices. Got some bargains in the freezer.

M&S now sell christmas waste to customers before closing, all wastage food was 1/4 of it's normal price.
