That's twice now he has messed up when the best candidate's have been staring him in the face. Ref: Badger.

Foolo surrounded by fools imo. Discuss.

I think the way he fired The Brand highlighted the cobbler Lord Sugar knew he had dropped firing Liz.

Stella gets my vote Sunday night.

Just as an aside I thought Ms Brady looked very pleasing on the eye in the "Your Fired" show on BBC 2.

Chris Bates comes across as such a c*nt. I watched that documentary about the final five candidates and his parents were all working class and chirpy, he's just a boring dull posh tw*t. Imho anyway.

Stella to win.

Chris will win. Stella would make a great receptionist/pa, but that isn't what Alan Sugar is looking for.

latest Apprentice odds

Stella English 4/6

Chris Bates 11/10

Stella will win, when Alan Sugar pointed to the person he hires at the preview of next weeks, he points to the side where Stella is sitting. I have remembered where he points on the last 4 weeks of apprentice and it has worked every time. So get your money on Stella.

It's a great theory, with just the one flaw;

That was shot in the boardroom and the final isn't held in the boardroom

I think I read somewhere during another series that the 2 finalists work for Sugar for a couple of months and then he decides, it's not down to the last task but how they did during those 2 months. I'm also sure I've read that he's taken on a couple of the others who didn't win before, to fullfill roles in his Company they're suited to as well.

I dont believe for one minute that Sugar didn't know all about Baggs' blagging on his CV. It was just editted to look like his man found out the details just before the interview, they have researchers and look into everyones background and claims before the show starts. He knew full well when firing Liz that Baggs was going the next week, great entertainment, but done to make the show better (which it did do).

I liked Laura.

Has anyone noticed everyone looks better on your fired? Must be some severe make-up time and good lighting. Brady looked far better on their too.

I don't understand the timeframe. So was the final filmed months ago? Some of them in the final footage look as they did during the show, rather than as they were on you're fired. Baggs had lost quite a bit of weight, it must have been a while ago. So they film it then wait all this time to find out if they've won? Do they call them back into the boardroom live? It always seems like they've just done the task.

How can they film two endings? How can the winner not know they've won? Do they just sit there unemployed for 6 months waiting to find out?!!

Don't know about how they are doing the final. But in previous series, I belive each program was filmed about a week / 10 days before airing, so it was all fairly recent.

They had to hold off on showing this series because TV rules wouldn't allow Lord Sugar and socialist leanings to be seen in a favourable light at the same time as the general election back in the spring.

The Apprentice 2010 Smash-o-meter:

1) Liz: By quite a clear margin.

2) Laura: Very nice and looked even better with teeth sorted out.

3) Stella: Bet she takes it up the garry.

4) Joanna: Definitely worth a squirt.

5) Paloma: Looks like she could suck a golfball through a garden hose.

6) Sandeesh: Amazing eyes.

7) Melissa: Filth, would take it in the gob for fives.

8) Joy: Mousse.

I'd have them in a slightly different order

1) Liz

2) Paloma

3) Stella

4) Laura

5) Sandeesh

6) Joanna

7) Melissa - Rug muncher

8 ) Joy - I'm guessing you mean 'moose'?

They film two different endings. Both told they have won, they go away and work for Sugar for 6 months before he decides who is the winner and they show that version on the night. Hth.

LOL.....dont be stupid

Yes, yes they do.

I point you towards this article as one source... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6729621.stm

Former runner-up Saira Khan has criticised the show because "the final decision is not based on the programme that people see, his final decision is based on these two people who have been working with him for the six months".

You seriously believe this years contestants hold off any kind of income for well over 12 months just waiting to hear the result?

It's common knowledge my friend. Now who is LOL'ing?

Infact I have delved further and found some more sources, other than my own superior knowledge. Just because I am bored.

From: http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/series6/workings.shtml

How does Lord Sugar decide who the winner is?

Lord Sugar decides the winner on the basis of the final task, the boardroom, and their overall performance throughout the series.

He makes his decision on the day of the final boardroom meeting. As there is a gap between the shoot and transmission (to leave time for editing), measures are taken to ensure that the outcome is kept a secret for viewers prior to transmission.

Two endings are filmed in order to ensure that the winner is not revealed in advance. Lord Sugar does not tell the production team and the finalists about the identity of his Apprentice until the day before the transmission of the final programme.

What happens to the finalists between the shoot and the transmission of the series?

As both finalists would not be able to seek employment until after transmission, and they cannot be out of pocket as a result of that, Lord Sugar finds both of them temporary jobs somewhere within his group of companies..

Clearly, as only Sugar knows who the winner is when he apparently decides in the boardroom, and films both endings, Sugar can change his mind depending on the hidden away line at the bottom regarding the time spent at "temporary jobs within his company".
