Ted Bates at Sheffield Wednesday

With Christmas on our doorstep, I was happy to see yet another golden opportunity opened it's doors for a past faux pas in the Clubs history. There grinning from my computer screen was none other than Mandick from the stands of Sheffield Wednesday.

 

The sad thing is the original Ted Bates statues' probably been melted down otherwise yet again another killing could have been made palming it off on Sheffield Wednesday as their club saviour.

 

The guy who originally made the Ted Bates statue clearly was a genius.
