I'd take those too, brilliant humour. I would put some of the clips but but i know there are a few grasses who would probably report me for being racist or bigoted if i did, rather than seeing it as one of the funniest programmes ever made.

brilliant suggestions dune, although i rarely watch anything more than once i'd make an exception for Johnny Speight.

 

Every now and then the forces of the universe bring together two elements that create something as rare as this, Speight and Warren Mitchell are one such case imho.

 

Such clever humour not seen before or since that was so in your face that half the viewing public actually got 'whoooshed' to the point that us who got it could laugh out loud at them when they said gumph like 'that alf garnett bloke, he had the right idea'. Hook, line and sinker.

 

My father-in-law (the racist one) still thinks that the series was banned due to racism, homophobia, politics and bigotry etc, he reckons it being banned was a sad day for freedom of speech and a sign of "these wogs taking over OUR country", this from a man who lived in sarf africa for 10 years and moved home when apartheid was coming to an end citing more ballocks about that too, apparently I "ain't got an effing clue cos you ain't lived there!"

 

anyway, yes imho THE best british comedy ever, ever.

Please release there are other internet sites providing these products apart from HMV. Dune is trying to push up the HMV xmas sales thus driving up the share price and his profit ;-)
