Topcat Posted 13 December, 2010 Posted 13 December, 2010 Am I right in thinking that we have had fewer special offers for games this season to date than last season? Last season the Boxing Day game had various family friendly specials, this year none. Anyone share any light on it?
doddisalegend Posted 13 December, 2010 Posted 13 December, 2010 We're saving up to buy Nigel a new team which would you like cheap tickets or a new striker, winger ,CM and CB

Andy_Porter Posted 13 December, 2010 Posted 13 December, 2010 We had three games for £7.50 I think FA rules only permit you to five cut price games a season. I think Cortese is doing the ticket pricing well so far.
sotonjoe Posted 14 December, 2010 Posted 14 December, 2010 I think "not ****ing off your season ticket holders rules" also permit you from reducing things too much too often. My ticket has cost me about £18 a game and it needs to remain the most cost-effective way of buying a ticket to make it viable.

What a stupid, stupid attitude. How is he in anyway a reject? They did everything they could to keep him, including making stuff up about telling him to resign.

Topcat Posted 14 December, 2010 Author Posted 14 December, 2010 The "bank holiday" in lieu of Boxing Day is the 28th and we have Huddersfield at home that day.
Smirking_Saint Posted 14 December, 2010 Posted 14 December, 2010 Because he would annoy the majority of the STH's ?? Something that, if it happened i would also expect you to write a thread about Topcat. Or are you actually looking for 'because Cortese is a c*nt' ??
saintscottofthenortham Posted 14 December, 2010 Posted 14 December, 2010 Because Cort*se is a C*nt. There you go Topcat. Go beat on it.
Topcat Posted 15 December, 2010 Author Posted 15 December, 2010 Why not try and get 3,000 to 5,000 more to the Boxing Day+2 game on the 28th? Make another move to reinforce our family image as a Club.
oldsarum Posted 15 December, 2010 Posted 15 December, 2010 Last year against Exeter we had 30,000 without any promotions, why should we need one this year. Christmas and New Year games traditionally have good crowds, promotions should be for games at less popular times and against less attractive opposition eg the likes of Tranmere, Hartlepool

Wilko Posted 15 December, 2010 Posted 15 December, 2010 Is that the S****horpe playing in the league above us? Yeah, but they're **** n'stuff n we r awsum.
buctootim Posted 15 December, 2010 Posted 15 December, 2010 Is that the S****horpe playing in the league above us? Thats the one. The club with one third of our wage bill. The one Adkins got promoted. The one falling down the table now hes gone.

Topcat Posted 15 December, 2010 Author Posted 15 December, 2010 Exeter at home last year was a promotion, it was £10 for adult and child in the chapel. So that was why we had 30,000 oldsarum?

The one falling down the table now hes gone. and relegated Actually it would be interesting to know who scunny fans think is responsible for their fall down the table. The present manager for not making the most of a team Nigel got the best out of, or Nigel for leaving them a team of no hopers that were quite good last season but are now not up to it.
