Rory Posted 8 December, 2010 Share Posted 8 December, 2010 Yes, it's that time of the year again when I try and better your lists with bands yet to have been formed. I'm still compiling mine (it'll be a top 50), but what are yours?
Smirking_Saint Posted 8 December, 2010 Share Posted 8 December, 2010 One of my favourite albums this year has been Tinnie Tempah's TBF. But i don't really buy many albums these days, just compile playlists. Strangely i have seen my musical taste really widen and move over the past few years, i mean 5 years ago i was a massive classic rock, metal and grunge fan. Nowadays is rarely listen to it at all and have moved to R&B, rap, dubstep and trance. Don't know why really.

Sheaf Saint Posted 9 December, 2010 Share Posted 9 December, 2010 I haven't really listened to much new stuff this year, and what little I have been exposed to has just passed my by mostly. However, the one standout album that really caught my attention is Trentemøller's Into The Great Wide Yonder. Brilliantly original piece of work and well worth a listen if you haven't heard it. hamster Posted 19 December, 2010 Share Posted 19 December, 2010 Does Re-discovering an album count? I re-discovered Sgt pepper's again this year. It was just before St Landrew buggered off. I miss the guy, I really do. Sgt Pepper's stayed in my car stereo for about two months, best album ever. That IS a fact.
