One of my favourite albums this year has been Tinnie Tempah's TBF. But i don't really buy many albums these days, just compile playlists.

Strangely i have seen my musical taste really widen and move over the past few years, i mean 5 years ago i was a massive classic rock, metal and grunge fan. Nowadays is rarely listen to it at all and have moved to R&B, rap, dubstep and trance.

Don't know why really.

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs

The songs take on a new dimension when you see them live.

Have to agree, one of (if not) the best albums of the century so far. Other favourites of this year include Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History and Tokyo Police Club - Champ

I haven't really listened to much new stuff this year, and what little I have been exposed to has just passed my by mostly. However, the one standout album that really caught my attention is Trentemøller's Into The Great Wide Yonder. Brilliantly original piece of work and well worth a listen if you haven't heard it.

Does Re-discovering an album count?

I re-discovered Sgt pepper's again this year. It was just before St Landrew buggered off. I miss the guy, I really do.

Sgt Pepper's stayed in my car stereo for about two months, best album ever. That IS a fact.
