Problem with this website

For the last 18 hours or so I am able to get the forum ie Lounge but am then unable to open

any indivdual threads. If you can read this though it proves that I can post new threads.

This happens using Firefox and IE8. It also happens on another couple of websites as well

but others are ok, like the BBC and Sky news.

I have done disc clean up, defrag and run anti virus and anti spyware nothing shows up.

I have an old computer which I could connect and try but that is slow anyway to start with.

It took over one minute for that to load, the green bar in bottom right hand side almost

gets to the end then stops.

Its almost certainly an internet connection issue. Have you changed anything your end ??

 

Perhaps there is an issue in your local exchange ? Ring your ISP and see if they know anything about how slow things are running for you ATM.

 

This sort of thing happens from time to time, it should go away within a day or so.

Thank you S-S have to admit I never thought of getting hold of ISP.They had no reported faults

but it is all back to normal now.
