I still would rather have had Antiono than Puncheon but it wasn't to be. TBH Puncheon wasn't bad for us in his first dozen games or so but very inconsisent after that, so after only a couple of games at Millwall it's a bit early to decide if he is suddenly fantatstic. Maybe he wants to play for Jacket and just didn't get on with Nigel, getting on with you're boss (or not) makes a big difference to how you perform at work.

Doesn't seem to get on with many bosses or perform consistently anywhere to be honest, apart from Ince who he obviously got on well with. Give him 6 months there and he will be moaning again.

This is his main downfall IMO, if he had a decent attitude then he would be a major player in our team this season. Its a shame as i said before the boy has a lot of talent and despite being universally slagged off put a lot of effort in and showed that technically he is a good player.

Sorry Doddsi, i just don't see how Antonio is any better than Puncheon, he looked good in patches and made impacts from the bench but he had his fair share of times where he went missing. He is also a bit part player at Reading who aren't massively stocked with wide players ATM.

yeah I know you never had any time for Antonio. For me though Antonio had raw pace and strength that Puncheon never showed, Puncheon probably has better technical skill than Antonio but he never seemed to worry fullbacks the way Antonio did he certainly wasn't as quick and was much easier to knock of the ball. Puncheon always ran into to many dead ends for me Antonio was more direct. Oxo is better than both though.

Like you, I massively preferred Antonio. Puncheon is so frustrating to watch and I know we can get better.
