Turkish Posted 3 December, 2010 Posted 3 December, 2010 Question for the ladies on here really, Mrs Le Taxi and eldest daughter Le Taxi want Uggs for Xmas. Remind them that christmas is a time to celebrate the life of Jesus Christ, a time of giving not taking and also now in multi cutural England, to embrace other cultures and beliefs. It's only commercialism which has turned christmas into a time of greed and excess. It is this time of year we should be thinking of others less fortunate than ourselves, not greedily demanding fatuous presents to add further layers to this countries debt mountain. Tell them their demands for Ugg boots are understandable given the me first society we live in, but surely if they really want to feel the true christmas spirit think not what about they can get, but what about they can give.
