the presentation was really good, we probably would do a better world cup than the other contenders but all the hype would be unberable, it's bad enough during a normal world cup. 7.5 years of "we can win it" "remember '66" and "footballs coming home" with every no mark celebrity jumping on the band wagon and every advert being about it. Wont be for a looong time. USA likely to be given 2022 later on today so I guess the one after that will go to Asia. So maybe 2030?

I doubt it, I suspect the FA/Government will fund to keep Plymouth's stadium going.
