saint francis Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Welcome back? I've been away for a few days, hobbies etc. Just logged on.......did the site go down or something?
Ponty Posted 3 August, 2008 Author Posted 3 August, 2008 Do mods have to pay? Yep, I've only got one more post before my quota is up today. I don't have PayPal so i have to wait for the missus to get back to her house so I can phone her and beg her to pay for me. Embarrassing, huh?
Dog Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 member junior member senior member full member What makes me a senior member?? I do not have £5 to pay to become a full member, can you let me in for nothing?
master Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 The Saints must have the most laughable form on the internet.
Al de Man Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 The Saints must have the most laughable form on the internet. Which form? I just went to PayPal.
Junction 9 Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 The Saints must have the most laughable form on the internet. The season hasn't started yet.
Barney Trubble Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 It's pretty strange, something doesn't feel right. Mmmmm
Baj Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Do mods have to pay? Yes, even the owners of SaintsWeb (Granty and Myself) have paid, for the sake of £5 it just removes the argument completely
Junction 9 Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Yes, even the owners of SaintsWeb (Granty and Myself) have paid, for the sake of £5 it just removes the argument completely How many are you expecting to pay up? Is there a minimum you require?
Ludwig Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Any chance of being able to send money via postal order, as I have previously with donation? I can't really do PayPal.
trousers Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 What makes me a senior member?? I thinks that's the highest rank you can have without paying....well, that's what Jonathan Ross told me anyway..... (what's that you say Jonathan? Ahhh..."rank".....I get it now. Thanks)
trousers Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Any chance of being able to send money via postal order No, but Green Shield Stamps are acceptable
Junction 9 Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 No, but Green Shield Stamps are acceptable Doubtful he'll get this, he's 12 or something.
Kadeem Hardison Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 What sort of discount is there for senior citizens?
Saintandy666 Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 It does feel different. Like all restricted. I think there will be less posts because of this. I guess I will pay when I get the money though. I will see what the site becomes like because of this first though, then pay if it has similar quality.
Kadeem Hardison Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 As I only have a two posts left, I'd better say everything I need to in this one. I'll save the other for emergencies. Brilliant. Stewart Lee's new DVD is out this week. I recommend that you buy it. 'One Day Like This' by Elbow Cake. wiltshiresaint > Wiltshire Saint It hurt but I liked it. Widdrington is the only man who can take this club forward.
Saints1980 Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Yep, I've only got one more post before my quota is up today. I don't have PayPal so i have to wait for the missus to get back to her house so I can phone her and beg her to pay for me. Embarrassing, huh? Wouldn't it be easier to just sign up for PayPal?!
Saint in Paradise Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 If only Tiggs, if only :D Actually I enjoy reading most of your posts :D
Saint in Paradise Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Wouldn't it be easier to just sign up for PayPal?! Wife won't let him have a Credit Card I suspect
Ponty Posted 3 August, 2008 Author Posted 3 August, 2008 Wouldn't it be easier to just sign up for PayPal?! Just to register here? Seems a bit redundant really. Besides, I'm not sure I could trust myself on the rest of the 'net.
Matt SFC Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 This is sh*t tbh. What other football forum on the internet only lets you post three times unless you pay. I for one also think its a waste of money buying live league tables and fixure lists etc. Sort it out!
Um Bongo Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 This is sh*t tbh. What other football forum on the internet only lets you post three times unless you pay. I for one also think its a waste of money buying live league tables and fixure lists etc. Sort it out! If paying £5 stops me from reading posts from you then horray.
Johnny Shearer Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 I'm wondering for how many days I can live by posting just 3 times a day before succumbing to becoming a full member!

Saintandy666 Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Right, can you just pay one off every year rateh rthan subscription? If you can, I will most likely do it when I come back from my holiday. Last post GONE.
saint_stevo Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 what if i get banned before i pay/dont pay? also i am considering a change of name and thus reset of post count, which i feel is rather sad
saint_stevo Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 what if i get banned before i pay/dont pay? also i am considering a change of name and thus reset of post count, which i feel is rather sad EDIT- although im sure i was on 6k posts before and now only showing 4,500 odd.
Lowe and behold Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Love this text, you can spellcheck aswell
thesaint sfc Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 what if i get banned before i pay/dont pay? also i am considering a change of name and thus reset of post count, which i feel is rather sad If you get banned after you've paid - it's your fault for not sticking to the rules. We will continue to infract users as before for not abiding the rules. If you get banned before - you won't have the opportunity to pay. If you do pay it will be a waste unfortunately. We have implemented this to cover the costs of the server - but also to ensure further that members stick to the small amount of rules that we have & banned users don't return.
saint_stevo Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 can i then please have my post count set back to 0? cheers
Ponty Posted 3 August, 2008 Author Posted 3 August, 2008 Love this text, you can spellcheck aswell Lol.
Al de Man Posted 3 August, 2008 Posted 3 August, 2008 Love this text, you can spellcheck aswell The spellcheck's always been there if you have the Google toolbar installed.

nexus icon Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 Cant start a new thread without paying? Madness IMHO.
Master Bates Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 Fresh start' date=' previous infractions gone. woop.[/quote'] Tis very true. I better mention my weekend now, save wasting another post. Friday: Watched footie, got screwed Saturday: F1 Qualifiers, other stuff Sunday: F1, St Helens, chilled 8/10
Bath Saint Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 This is fantastic. 3 posts a day means I'll be substantially more productive at work. And because they will be far fewer posts on here, it will mean that I'll spend far less time reading the dross that gets posted.
aids victim Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 Is there a student discount? I will use my 3 posts a day wisely and I am wondering if I could get a sponsor to allow me to post on here. The sponsorship package costs £5 and it will enable you to PM me every day with any problems you have, I will always name you in my top 5 on the top 5 threads here and suchlike. I will even have my avatar as you. Your £5 a year couldn't be spent any better.
CabbageFace Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 Does the 5 pounds pay for you guys to go on a Moderators NVQ course?
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 Does the 5 pounds pay for you guys to go on a Moderators NVQ course? Do you really think that there's anything even slightly professional about the way we work?
CabbageFace Posted 4 August, 2008 Posted 4 August, 2008 Do you really think that there's anything even slightly professional about the way we work? Yes, you are the best.
