Most hated poster on TSW

Dune is the biggest wind-up merchant by far. Surely he doesn't actually believe the crap that he posts.

Alpine Saint strikes me as someone on suicide watch. Every silver-lining has a cloud with him.

Julian H Cope is a horrible c*nt who eats babies.

FOr that sole reason alone he is one of the best posters, the way some of the clowns on here bite is hilarious.

Interesting to see Dell Days mentioned a few times, obviously other people dont hold him in the high regard he holds himself in.

What I post is the truth. You might not like it, but I say it how it is. As Churchill once said "you have enemies? good, it means you have stood up for something sometime in your life"

What I post is the truth.

"You can't handle the truth !"

"There is no truth. There is only perception."

“I don't believe that there's one truth. There are so many different people, and there are so many different ways you can look at things. I don't see how there could be just one truth.”

"Materialism coarsens and petrifies everything, making everything vulgar, and every truth false."

"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth"

"Truth is a good dog; but always beware of barking too close to the heels of an error, lest you get your brains kicked out."

I don't hate anybody on here, it's not as if I actually know any of you. I despair of some, and if what others post comes anywhere near what they believe than they have my pity, but I do not think there are any souls so dark that they cannot be turned for the better.

No, what you post is what you believe is the truth or, more likely, what you want to believe is the truth. You have every right to your opinion, however jaundiced it may be, and you have every right to say it.

I just won't necessarily agree with you.

Funny you quote Churchill, Stanley. He was so repulsed by fascism he had a war with them.

I don't think he would have liked you very much.

I'm no fascist, i'm an Imperialist just like Churchill. Fascism is Socialism and Socialism is Comunism. These are Chuchill views on people of your ilk.

On Socialism:

"If I were asked the difference between Socialism and Communism, I could only reply that the Socialist tries to lead us to disaster by foolish words and the Communist could try to drive us there by violent deeds."

"Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the State."

"Government of the duds, by the duds, and for the duds."

"No socialist system can be established without a political police."

"Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy."

"It is not alone that property, in all its forms, is struck at, but that liberty, in all its forms, is challenged by the fundamental conceptions of socialism."

"'All men are created equal' says the American Declaration of Independence. 'All men shall be kept equal' say the Socialists."

"Some see private enterprise as a predatory animal to be shot, others look on it as a cow to be milked but a few see it as a sturdy horse pulling a wagon."

"If you destroy a free market, you create a black market."

"The vice of capitalism is that it stands for the unequal sharing of blessings; whereas the virtue of socialism is that it stands for the equal sharing of misery."

"Socialism assails the pre-eminence of the individual."

"Is it better to have equality at the price of poverty or well-being at the price of inequality?"

"The flame of Christian ethics is still our best guide...only on this basis can we reconcile the rights of the individual with the demands of society."

On leftists:

"They are the most disagreeable of people...Their insincerity? Can you not feel a sense of disgust at the arrogant presumption of superiority of these people? Superiority of intellect! Then, when it comes to practice, down they fall with a wallop not only to the level of ordinary human beings but to a level which is even far below the average."

"These very high intellectual persons who wake up every morning...see what they can find to demolish, to undermine, or cast away."

"Let them quit these gospels of envy, hate, and malice. Let them abandon the utter fallacy, the grotesque, erroneous, fatal blunder of believing that by limiting the enterprise of man, by riveting the shackles of a false equality...they will increase the well-being of the world."

On Communism:

"Bolshevism is not a policy; it is a disease."

"The day will come when it will be recognized without doubt throughout the civilized world that the strangling of Bolshevism at birth would have been an untold blessing to the human race."

So, in conclusion : We have a man born in Blenheim Palace, into the family of the Duke of Marlborough, ( and therefore descended from Queen Anne's favourite general ). His father's parents were the son of the Duke of Marlborough and the daughter of the Marquis of Londonderry, and his father was a career politician who served as Chancellor of the Exchequer and Leader of the House of Commons. His mother was the daughter of an american multi-millionaire.

WSC was schooled at 3 private schools, ending up at Harrow.

Not surprising he held certain opinions on the 'lesser' classes.

An Imperialist? You mean going back to the empire? You mean you would enforce British rule on another state by force and the population would have no right to repsentation through the ballot box. Remind me again how that is different from Fascism.

In a nutshell yeah. It's like when i shoveled the snow form an elderly neigbours front path. We, as a western christian nation, have the ability to educate and help others that are unable help themselves. We benefit from taking some resources, they benefit from having their standards of living and life expectancy raised. I see nothing wrong with this arrangement.

Just thought I'd stop by and ask how the weather is today.

Been a pleasant 28C today but getting a bit chilly in the evenings, and it may drop down as low as 18C tonight, but hardly a breath of wind around.

Looks like I may have to dig out a light sweater for our late evening outdoor beach party on Friday

Snowed like **** about an hour ago in the east mids. Nipped into town to see about an LED Samsung TV from Currys and was told on the quiet that Dixons online were reducing their prices in a few days so best to wait. On the way back it was a bit dicey. If we get some more this evening i might struggle to get to work, but unlike those in the public sector i'll try my best.

sounds just like the EU

Only with the EU Germany rules the roost and slowly but surely sovereign states are becoming part of the Federal state of Europe. Greece has fallen, Irealnd has fallen, Portugal will fall. I just hope that the contagen spreads to Spain because if they fall we could well see the political ruling class (basically a european aristocracy of bureucrats) facing a peasants revolt.

Funny you should mention Churchill. I was sat in his chair at Churchills Bar last night. I even had a cigar with my Port. Absolute opulence in there. Oh and the manners of the staff in there were exceptional; it costs nothing but makes such a difference.
