Well you'd think so wouldn't you, but in my experience they've proved to be less than reliable.
Bensfcno1 Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 They said no pick ups at ground! So don't know if that means no sale or just pick ups of Pre purchased tickets?

sfc4prem Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 They said no pick ups at ground! So don't know if that means no sale or just pick ups of Pre purchased tickets? Pick up means collecting pre-ordered tickets at the away ground. We did it at Bristol Eovers earlierthis season, but some teams don't do it. Bensfcno1 Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 Oh, well just have to phone Charlton in the morning!
Nexstar Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 Oh, well just have to phone Charlton in the morning! If you've decided to go then you'll go. If you can't get away tickets on the gate just buy in the home end. It will be nowhere near a sell-out.
Griffo Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 Our support will be filled with loads of boring sit-down type people tomorrow seen as it's boxing day.
Deppo Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 Our support will be filled with loads of boring sit-down type people tomorrow seen as it's boxing day. I agree, mate. It's so depressing. I hate Boxing Day for this. In fact, I hate Christmas for this. I'd quite happily go without Christmas ever year so we can avoid boring sit-down types. Bloody boring sit-down types. Well, I won't be going for this reason. I can't stand boring sit-down types. Call themselves fans?
JRM Posted 25 December, 2010 Share Posted 25 December, 2010 There was a cash turnstile at charlton last year and seeing as we've only sold a couple of thousand that should leave another thousand for sale on the day.

RonManager Posted 26 December, 2010 Share Posted 26 December, 2010 Selfishly speaking, this is good for me as I couldn't get there today. I'll be working in London January/February so should now be able to go. If anyone has a ticket but is not now able to go, I'll gladly have it. Bensfcno1 Posted 26 December, 2010 Share Posted 26 December, 2010 Just to let you know that this morning the Charlton TO confirmed on the phone I could pay on the gate. They told me to phone back after the 10am pitch inspection, which I did for them to tell me the match is 'definately on'. Muppets! Luckily I was only 40 minutes away and the round trip to the ground only added 2 hours on my complete journey home after being at my gf's for xmas, Plus I didnt part with my money except for extra petrol, £5 to park and £3.30 for a Pint. I was V.****ed off when the Old Bill came in to the pub to confirm the game was called off 50 minutes before scehduled KO. I salute all those for making the complete round Journey from the South Coast! Makes you laugh when clubs in the passed have used the health and saftey excuse of people getting there. Today 2.5K fans had alreday made the journey (the most dangerous if any of the day) to the sorrounding area which was fine. PATHETIC, If there was anymore than 10% chance of it being called off at 10am, they shoulda told us then!
