Best 'silly' comedies

What would you say are your favourite 'silly' comedies.

 

Such as Airplane, Scary Movie etc.....

 

For me, nothing has ever made me laugh as hard as Airplane!

Airplane is a masterpiece, but the more modern ones like Dodgeball and Happy Gilmore are absolutely brilliant.

I loved Airplane but one that made me laugh the most, which I saw when it was first released was Blazing Saddles.

Wayne's World and Autin Powers are up there with the likes of Airplane and Blazing Saddles for me.

Airplane and the Naked Gun trilogy are both excellent. Airplane has got to be the winner overall. Timeless.

 

The first 3 Police Academy movies were good for a silly giggle.

 

Robin Hood, Men in Tights is hillarious. "You changed your name TO Latrine?" "Yeah, it used to be sh*thouse!

 

I've tried to watch Anchorman several times and just do not get it.

Personally I dont think you can beat carry on films. Screaming with Harry H Corbett is proberly my fav.

 

Looking away from Carry on, The Rutles is a great film.
