After a fair few games in my first season ticket holding season I'm feeling in need of some company to share the experience with. I find the people around me in itchen centre don't want to speak, clap or crack a smile so I often feel like a weirdo getting into the game on my own. I park in woolston and walk over the bridge too, which is also a lonely experience (can u hear the violins....)

I also like to hang around for the player interview after the game as im like an exciteable child getting to see our players out of their usual surroundings. I draw the line at hanging around to catch sight of them as they leave the stadium, but i happened to bump into fonte and chambo after the game and it was cool to actually speak to them...

But back to my opening point, i'd be interested to meet up with anyone similar whos really into saints and could also do with a bit of company on match days..

If you'd like a kick about now and again too then even better as wanna get out playing a bit more too..

Cheers

If you want to stay in the Itchen and also enjoy a more lively and vociferous/bantery time, then move to upper block 4, rows FF, GG etc.

Based on your usual posts I'm not taking this as a serious request :)

I am serious. I will tell you about myself.

I, too, am 27 years old and also live in West End. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and my favourite TV shows are Top Gear and Robot Wars (but only up to 2003 when the mediocre Jayne Middlemiss took over from the lovely Philippa Forrester). I am unemployed but I have a massive inheritance which will keep me going for the next 8-9 years. I am Gemini and my favourite foods are Wotsits, Orange Club biscuits and Lasagne. My favourite drink is Ribena (not Toothkind - yuck!). My favourite pastimes are paintballing and visiting Southsea Parade Pier amusements. And football of course - lol! Now will you PM me the picture?

Why do I find it impossible to take you seriously :) of course you could have sent that to me by PM along with a photo of yourself if that's how you roll.... ;-)

how old are you..? 27

do you like girls..? For sex, otherwise I find them quite annoying.

what is your favourite beverage..? Newcastle brown ale

do you commentate to yourself during games..? I'm silent during games but that's from sitting in itchen. Wouldn't commentate anywhere as that infuriates me but I'd like to give the team some support with people looking at you like a weirdo

do you have any outstanding restraining orders against you..? Nope but I would like to put a few in place on others....

Answers above my friend...

Fookin hell this thread has made me feel like I'm back at school and noone wants to be my friend or pick me in the footy team...

For the record I do have friends and people do like me... It's just they are all weird and dislike football.... Fkin madness...

What about my suggestion?

What about my suggestion?

I could do. Sorry to seemingly ignore your suggestion. I quite like being around nigel and the team and seeing reactions, decision making and witnessing player attitude which contributes to every aspect of my perceptions of where saints are and what we can achieve. You miss a lot sitting far away but I agree it would be better for getting involved with other fans and making footy friends :)

some more questions

1/ are you fat?

2/ are you weird?

3/ Are you more interested in what food and drink you can buy inside the ground than what actually goes on on the pitch?

4/ Are you a scarfer?

5/ Are you looking for more than just a football relationship or are you going to be like that fat, annoy welsh bloke in Extras who wanted to go out for meals and stuff and be bessie mates?

some more questions

1/ are you fat? I'm 16 stone, made up of 6 ft 1 of height, big shoulders and tree trunks for legs. Not fat though, no.

2/ are you weird? I don't claim to be normal as I don't like what is deemed to be the norm these days. But not weird, no.

3/ Are you more interested in what food and drink you can buy inside the ground than what actually goes on on the pitch? Couldn't care less what is served in the ground as I go to watch the footy. Which should be well appreciated considering I'm a carrot cruncher.

4/ Are you a scarfer? By this I assume you mean do I wear a saints scarf??? Never did up until the last game where I couldn't find my normal scarf and it was fkin freezing outside so I hid it under my jacket.

5/ Are you looking for more than just a football relationship or are you going to be like that fat, annoy welsh bloke in Extras who wanted to go out for meals and stuff and be bessie mates? Wether I'd want to meet up outside of football depends on whether you are a complete tool or not, but to be honest I have mates outside of football so please don't be offended if it never happens....

hmmm, you're not really selling it to me mate, maybe you should start again with something like this

Male, 27 from Southampton, 6ft 1inch with muscular build, powerful legs and shoulders and GSOH. Interests include football & drinking. Itchen block 7 season ticket holder, looking for other singles or groups for football friendship and possibily more. If you want to meet up then drop me a PM.

That's pretty much what I've said tbf so you have hit the nail on the head with that description. I didn't want it to sound like a dating agency advert as thats not what this is... (it's not....sorry)

I'm not going to beg so you'll have to take my word that I'm a decent guy to be around on matchdays... Or any day really... Except Monday mornings, hate them.

We hitched or what then?

Stop being such a b!tch about it! I've got no issues with going to SMS on matchdays on my own, in fact it's a bit of 'me time' away from work and uni. Mind you, i'm not a ST holder.

Alright darling, calm down :-)

I dont mind the odd game on my own but it would be nice to have someone to talk to about the game, have a pint with etc now and again.. There have been a lot of home games lately so it began to feel a bit weird being up there so much on my own.

This "b!tch" is off to do her nails.....

You both go alone, why dont you both hook up? Job done. You say you're a decent bloke, while "Supermikey" is a nauseating adolescent, so some of your "good blokeness" might rub off so kill two birds with one stone.

Sounds like someones blowing me out Turkish.... after all the effort i put in to woo you too ;-)

Supermikey will have to get back in my good books first before i start teaching him how to be a good bloke. You've not really sold him to me anyway with the "nauseating adolescent" and so for that reason, Im out.

I just want you to be sure, i dont want to make you promises i cant keep and i am also currently in a football friend relationship. If i am going to have an affair, or heaven forbid divorce my current football friends in exchange for the greatest footie friend of my life, then we both need to be sure, it's a life changing decision.

I come with a free pint and a yorkie?!?!

I know its tough but you need to let them go, they dont love you. With me you wont just be making up numbers, you'll play a key role in my enjoyment of the beautiful game. I will no longer feel like a loner and that my friend, will be all down to you. Cant get a better feeling than that...
