Smirking_Saint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Big draw for me, lets get a big team or decent Championship side. Are they in it yet ?? We are not going to win it so i'd rather we were out of it, we need to concentrate on the league
Justin C Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Do prem teams come in to it now? If so a big prem team at home.
Stepgar Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 not reallu up for the cup this year. Promotion is easily the first priority. today we were without Barnard, Lambert came off at half time (not sure why?) Holmes left the field injured BB has picked up a knock and richardson is now injured! But i guess someone who - if we get beat it will be forgettable and not effect confidence etc. Mid Championship club please.
saint_jas Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Some crap team at home, Torquay will do or York City.
Thedelldays Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 a prem team away so we can get knocked out...
SNSUN Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Norwich at home please, any excuse to annoy my missus. Or Man U away. Whatever.
Made in Southampton Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Liverpool or Man City away for me.
Andy_Porter Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Anywhere away. Does anyone know when the D&R away game will be postponned to now we're in the third round?
Amesbury Saint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 newcastle, Brighton, Pompey, Bompey at SMS All beatable!
VectisSaint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Aldershot at home would have been nice, top 2 Hampshire teams, but not to be, we could have sung you dirty northern bastards at them LOL I would be happy to get someone like Reading, Leicester, Brizzle City or Hull at home. Someone to compare ourselves with from a higher division. Please not the Skates, we do not need the distraction of a meaningless local derby against them. We will probably get Scunny.
bpsaint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Arsenal away, so I can go to the Emirates and we get knocked out. 2 birds 1 stone.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Anywhere away. Does anyone know when the D&R away game will be postponned to now we're in the third round? Third round clashes with Oldham away on the 6th :-)
torsaint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Dand R on 3 January. FA Cup round 3 on 8 January.Anywhere away. Does anyone know when the D&R away game will be postponned to now we're in the third round?
Andy_Porter Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Oh that's good news. I'll happily sack of Oldham away after going last year. Cheers.
Window Cleaner Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 we have a really important period between the end of December and the end of January, our League 1 standing will be formed from the results in that time. I really don't think we need a potential showboat tie weighing on players performances at Charlton or at home to Exeter who can be a bit of a tough nut to crack. We need an easy game, at home to a poor side, fans have plenty of other things to spend their money on really.
Turkish Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Arsenal away, so I can go to the Emirates and we get knocked out. 2 birds 1 stone. Agreed.
Dr Who? Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 I want Arsenal away, or another stadium I have not been to.
The9 Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 I agree with Arsenal away, or Dover at home. Either someone crappy at home or a day out away to get us out of it.

georgeweahscousin Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool away please.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Adkins thinks we will get Scunny away! He said it's in the tea leaves so I fully expect it now.
sandwichsaint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Dover away would be nice - I went today and Dover were well worth their win; in fact they have been good value for both their victories over league oppo. Over 4000 at Crabble today and a cracking atmosphere, would love to see Saints play there.
derry Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Man Utd away, 75000 crowd, probable tv game take the money and move on.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 It is written in the stars that 'arry' will bring the Spuds down to St Marys.
Evil Monkey Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Dover would be a good tie. Then a big prem side when they come in in rounds 4.
Turkish Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Dover would be a good tie. Then a big prem side when they come in in rounds 4. So this season are they breaking with 100+ years of tradition and changing the round Premier and Championship sides come into the competition?

Of all the grounds i dream of seeing Saints play at, i can honestly say Dover has never been, or will be, one of them.
St Chalet Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Spuds at home please, we might get knocked out but it will be worth it to see what happens to Arry's Merc in the car park.
SparkySaint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 I'd like Pompey, Chelsea or Arsenal at home but think we will get Leicester away
Evil Monkey Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 So this season are they breaking with 100+ years of tradition and changing the round Premier and Championship sides come into the competition? Oops. Is it round 5 they come in then?
sandwichsaint Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Of all the grounds i dream of seeing Saints play at, i can honestly say Dover has never been, or will be, one of them. You really should get out more ... it's a lovely non-lge ground (it's already league-rated if they ever get that far)- a much better pitch than plenty of those in our league - Dover v Saints would be a great third round tie (or we could all go to Chelsea/L'pool/Man U 'again', yawn).
Elias Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Oops. Is it round 5 they come in then? Guess again.
Matthew Le God Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 Oops. Is it round 5 they come in then? No, the 3rd round.
Gemmel Posted 27 November, 2010 Posted 27 November, 2010 It will be Liverpool at Anfield and we will win. Run to the bookies
