stevegrant Posted 8 October, 2008 Share Posted 8 October, 2008 Well of course it's not a problem - he still gets paid his salary regardless. I cannot wait for the day when the **** really hits the fan and one Premier League team gets into real financial trouble. I wouldn't want that club to go out of business, because they've all got history and heritage, but it would act as the wake-up call the likes of Scudamore need. Sadly, I fear Scudamore will have already "earned" his fortune by that point...

This Charming Man Posted 8 October, 2008 Share Posted 8 October, 2008 I'm going to use my final post of the day to say that he is a complete and utter c*nt. He looks like a c*nt, acts like a c*nt and has plenty of c*ntish ideas, which makes him a massive c*nt. I'm also looking forward to a big Premiership club getting in financial trouble. It's all a bit silly these days. Roy Keane has spent over £80m at Sunderland, just to survive in the Premiership... it's a joke.
bridge too far Posted 8 October, 2008 Share Posted 8 October, 2008 I haven't looked to see if this has been posted elsewhere but I was interested to hear that UEFA are considering banning clubs that have a high debt gearing from entering either the Champions League or UEFA cup. That will put paid to some clubs that have a large debt. Not naming names, of course
