B Rabbit Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 I've been a photoshop user for a good 9 years now...I would class myself as expert at worst and have been able to knock something up for you quickly and hopefully it satisfies the criteria which you have laid out. If you need me to do any further work for you please do not hesitate to contact me.....
prideofthesouth Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 That's awesome! I am in need of a graphics designer please contact me as im really interested to see some more of your portfolio. We can offer you a really good package which includes unlimited donuts!

hypochondriac Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 looked good in my head... this is why I use designers instead of doing **** myself Why the green?
hypochondriac Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 Grass...................... Is the sky on fire?
St Landrew Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 I can never fathom Adobe PaintShop, but I do rock at Jasc Paint Shop Pro. If you want that Fortress badge adapted, then the bigger the image [within reason] the easier.
Baj Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 best thing to do if you like it is hand it to a designer to get it looking "proper like"
Weston Super Saint Posted 7 October, 2008 Posted 7 October, 2008 looked good in my head... this is why I use designers instead of doing **** myself Are the spikes for popping the ball if things aren't going well?

Matthew Le Tissier Posted 8 October, 2008 Author Posted 8 October, 2008 nearly perfect.it would look great if we could loose the big black thick lines around the badge and just have one big ball with the logo inside. cheers for this mate

Pancake Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 There is one word for this thread. Catheterisation Nah, was fun.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 8 October, 2008 Author Posted 8 October, 2008 ? think i like this one better you know.makes it look less like a fortress has been stuck on top of a ball. it was just the outer lines were realy thick? what you think
Pancake Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 Ive been a **** and didnt save the iterations properly so will have to try and re-do that version.
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 8 October, 2008 Author Posted 8 October, 2008 ive been a **** and didnt save the iterations properly so will have to try and re-do that version. oh dear not good
Pancake Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 Hows this? And also, what extension is a vector file?
Matthew Le Tissier Posted 8 October, 2008 Author Posted 8 October, 2008 Or maybe a pdf? Just so it can be changed easy if ever need be depending on which colour shirt we have
Pancake Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 If you want a Photoshop file which can be opened in Photoshop and changed easily, then the best bet is .psd IIRC. .psd gives you all the seperate layers non-flattened so you can tweak any layer you want without changing the others. For example, you could chnage the hue or saturation level of the blue in the text without changing the blue in the flag.

Pancake Posted 8 October, 2008 Posted 8 October, 2008 Not sure but i saved the ones of here that are jpeg and printed them off and they look blurrrrrrrryyy How big are you printing them? The image is only about 300px X 300px; so if you blow it up, it would come out a bit blurry.

Lovely badge tho, better than my ****ty effort
