Channon Jenkins A sort of a hybrid team that I grew up with from the age of about 5-8, it may not be entirely chronologically accurate but they would walk this league (and the one above too). Edited 22 November, 2010 by sandwichsaint Forgot Ron Davies FFS! Have to move Fisher to subs bench now.

Prince Jazzbo Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Most people seem to be forgetting that its our 125th Anniversary not our 40th. No one has gone back beyond about 1970. I'll go for Derek Reeves, his 39 goals helped us on the way to our 'successful' years. I suspect we could include a few from the earlier years if we tried.

krissyboy31 Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Most people seem to be forgetting that its our 125th Anniversary not our 40th. No one has gone back beyond about 1970. I'll go for Derek Reeves, his 39 goals helped us on the way to our 'successful' years. I suspect we could include a few from the earlier years if we tried. Unfortunately. I didn't see CB Fry play but I did see big John McGrath, so I'll nominate him and the 'ale house' team too.
krissyboy31 Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Wallace x3 One yes, two? Well maybe but three? That really is stretching it.
krissyboy31 Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Eric Webber. More for his time as landlord at the Woolston Manor than his Saints playing days though!
Prince Jazzbo Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 One yes, two? Well maybe but three? That really is stretching it. I always chuckle to myself when I think about CB Fry trying to establish a test cricket team in Nazi Germany.
The Majestic Channon Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Forbes Phillipson-Masters I played against him mid 90´s in verwood and he squared up to me, he had porked out quite a lot.
sandwichsaint Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Forbes Phillipson-Masters I'll see your Forbes Phillipson-Masters and raise you a Manny Andreszeski (sp?)
Badger Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 I'll see your Forbes Phillipson-Masters and raise you a Manny Andreszeski (sp?) But for a truly flamboyant name, surely none can better Herbert Dainty.
Appy Posted 22 November, 2010 Posted 22 November, 2010 Rudi Skacel, just for the waving and transfer rumors.
