Time To Stick By Lambert.

Just said on Talksport (I can't start a new thread I think, nor can I see the story anywhere on line) that Pardew is again considering a move for Rickie Lambert in January. £5m was talked about, not sure where the story has come from though, or why now.

AP has said he wants more strikers at Newcastle. Lazy jurno goes " he used to manage Lambert yeah" 2+2=5

how is it different...we have no idea what so ever if it is different..

Well as yet I haven't seen Lambert's dad touting him to all in sundry, nor an interview with Lambo saying he has gone as far as he can with saints, Nor have I seen AP mention any interest in Lambert in the press (unlike wenger with oxo).

On top of that Oxo is a young upcoming talent tipped to play for England one day who is worth taking a punt on. Lambert while a legend to me is nothing of the sort and pushing 30.

As it is Ashely and Pardew are a loss away from a lynching at St james park every week. Can you imagine the uproar among the Newcastle faithful if Pardew announced the answer to their striker problem was 30 year old who has played half season in the championship his entire footballing life.................

I doubt that Lambo would want that move anyway. Too risky. I imagine he has ideas of going up with Saints this season and staying where he seems very happy. Big fish in a small pond etc.

Agree with you, Ohio. He keeps telling us that he's "made up" to be here and "just lovin' it" at Saints. I'm sure he would want to stay on the bus until it is accepted the bus is out of gas. :)
